Even though this rack was pre-wired in the shop, there is still a lot of work to do! Getting it tied into the Yukon's electrical system is the first thing. Then running signal, remote, bass and volume knobs etc is next. I really think i might hook up the 24's just to hear them bang even though i have the front speakers to do still. One thing at a time, eventually we will finish. Watch all the previous video's on my channel for this progress update to make sense. stay tuned! Thanks for watching if you did!

Yoooo my guy, I saw a lil issue that could have the whole truck in flames or atleast a bunch of blown amps who knows 🤷‍♂️ but those little copper tabs you added to them titan8 terminals if one gets loosened from vibrations and that copper bar decided to touch the other terminal shewwww-weee have a 4th of July light-show up in there!

Hey bro I know that you don’t make a lot of the things you make for your own builds. But I am building my 09 Tahoe’s system and I am going to be wiring mine almost the way you are. The one thing that I need that the template you made to put the wires through on the inside. If its not a lot of trouble, I would love buy 4 of those template for 2/0 wire which is the wire I will be using. Thanks bro and keep up the great videos.

Also I've seen videos trying to disprove the relay idea, I'm 100% for using it. I've seen these trigger wires go bad in different components when people "tap" into them. I've had one on my personal head unit from my teenager years completely stop putting a signal out after tapping into it with some other accessories. Been using relays in installs ever since and it keeps everything clean and centralized. There's so much you can use those relays for, they're awesome

9:30 Steve I feel like a idiot, because it taken so long for me to understand why you use a relay for something like a fuel pump but you made it make total since. Thank you, I feel like a fool for it taking me literally 5 years to understand this. I worked for a few high performance tuning shops and never understood why I was wiring for them, just that I had to use them.

With that relay is what us electricians call a normally open and normally closed contacts in the relay. And they either open or close the contact depending how they are wired up when power is sent to the coil pins. Which like you said they would be wired normally open so when the coil is engaged the contacts close and send power to the devices. Not that you didn't know this already just helping out in the description of how it works.

One relay for my dsp, one relay for my mids and highs amp, and one relay for my sub amp? Also wouldn't splitting the remote 3 ways for the relays be the same as splitting it 3 ways for remote turn on terminal on amp? Trying to get rid for remote turn on pop when I start the truck, the correct way any help would be grate. Also I support you and smd 💯. I buy all sky high cable, I'm running my db subs in a gatley enclosure, smd quick connect speaker terminals the whole 9. Appreciate your content, your the best in the business my friend
