My mother’s dentist’s office was in the upstairs of the building on the left back in the early 1900’s. He pulled teeth on the porch!! It always brought fun memories to her when we visited this area.

My Granddaddy was a Ryan from Meadowview VA and it's where I spent my summers and holidays. In my 20s I moved down to the area to be close to my Granny Ryan who worked at E & H college and my Aunt Vida Minnick worked in the snack bar. I still miss that little holler where my Granny and Grandaddy Ryan lived near Yellow Springs church and the house my Momma grew up in with her Mawmaw and Granddaddy Findley.

If you take a right onto lee highway my Great Granddaddy Ryan built a beautiful home on the left side of the road and My Great Aunt Mary Bailey lived in the white house as soon as you make the turn onto lee highway at the bank. Man I miss that area.
