I hope you enjoyed this video, I would DEFINITELY recommend trying the summer rolls and Tom Yum soup recipe and putting your own spin on them 🥘! I filmed this slightly differently to normal and spoke as I cooked, let me know what you think of this style, I think it was a bit more fun to watch 😁! Have a beautiful day! ❤ x

Hey Lucy, 57 yo male from Melbourne here. I've been subscribed to your channel for nearly two months now so of course I'm at the very very beginner stage. I like your enthusiasm and how you describe the exercise's clearly and simply with no pressure to keep up with you. Because I'm still new, overweight and unfit I don't get very far but (as you say) I can SLOWLY go a tiny bit further each week. You have a passion for calisthenics that is infectious, yes its hard and Im puffed and sweaty at the end but I look forward to my daily work out because I enjoy it and like how it make me feel. Thanks heaps Lucy and keep up the the great work.

I agree about fish, only here in New Zealand fish is unbelievably expensive! Thank you for the cool recipes. Its because of you that I learned to do handstand at 60 years! You rock, girl!

Really? That is so surprising. I would think seafood would be fairly reasonable there.

You had me at chocolate! I often put cut up Granny Smith apples in the microwave for about 6 min and eat that with plain yoghurt but I’ll be adding cocoa powder and sweetener now! ♥️

Ooh yum, will definitely be trying the summer rolls! Also, another god tier dessert is warm peaches with cinnamon - give it a try if you haven't already, I had them at a bbq a few years ago and they were divine 😋

Hey Lucy thank you for another great video. I’ve really been enjoying your callisthenics drills. I was wondering if you remember roughly or exactly your beginner workout and practice back when you first started? I’ve been doing some Of your videos and honestly I’m a bit/ I am too weak atm for a lot of the exercises and feel kind of stuck. Would love if you could post a complete beginner routine to practice daily to build up strength like you did? xo

I too am a coffee drinker. I even used to work at a tea shop and when people would ask my favorite tea, I would say "coffee." But lately I have gotten really into herbal tea before bed, but like you I also find I have a hankering for a snack as well. I love this simple chocolate apple recipe since I find myself always wanting salty, sweet, and bitter (also a DARK chocolate fan) and hunting around for something to hit each note

Have you found it to be just as beneficial to eat full fat yogurt as fat free? I've read research that people don't lose weight by switching to low-fat or non fat dairy.
@eeveum Жыл бұрын
The issue with fat free is usually that the fat is replaced with sugar. As far as I know with greek or natural unsweetened yoghurts, this isn’t the case, you actually just get more protein per gram of yog as the naturally occurring fat is removed. The issue i’ve found is the taste of 0% greek yog, to me it’s fine in smoothies but on its own with fruit it’s quite chalky and a bit joyless. 5% is much more palatable but there’s a few more calories and a bit less protein per gram - but still very high! It’s down to how you eat it, your calorie budget and protein goals

I know you lost weight without calorie counting but you have talked about it in the past. I really hate calorie counting but can’t seem to lose weight without doing it…any thoughts?
@shikiixTheYoungWidow Жыл бұрын
Hello, I'm in the same boat as you! Meal prepping at least 3 days in advance has helped me finally have a break from counting one meal everyday. Maybe prep snacks too? If its pre package it should have calories on it Also I know some people who only count proteins and fats. I might try this when I'm 80% to my goal!
@baz_k Жыл бұрын
My struggle is the snacking during movies and netflix. I still have no idea how to go about not stuffing myself with junk. Mostly cause I can't sit still rather than hunger
@katalinbudai5916 Жыл бұрын
maybe you need a new hobby. for example if you are reading you can't eating, so you dont need snacking. Or just go to the bed earlier.
