The babies were probably taken for hand-feeding. After a couple weeks with the parents, you can take them and feed them yourself. It makes them more tame

have Faith on Reality its better at an age like this when they're babies so as they grow up they'll know you and wont be scared i have one since he was a baby i always take him out and one that my aunt gave us at an adult age and hes bot used to us so ill leqve the cage open so he can get out himself

none of my cockatiels mind it at all..plus its cleaner and it wont be painful if there feathers didnt get dirty...u have no idea how hard it is to clean it and how painful it is for the baby cockatiel.. if the tube doesnt hurt them and feeds them they are completely fine with it

TsukiyoTenshi 1-4 days old is every two hours around the clock 5-7 days is every 3 hours 8-14 days is 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm, and 11pm 15-24 days is 7am, 12pm, 5pm, and 11pm 25-34 days is 7am, 5pm, and 11pm 35-44 days is 7am and 7pm 45 days to weaning is 7pm until weaned fully please make sure you do a lot of research before doing this, my cockatiels just had 5 babies and abandoned all of them, so far 4 have died and only one is living - only 3 days old and feeding every two hours is very exhausting. it is not as easy as it looks, and many cockatiels will have issues with their first clutch.

the amount of food you give also depends on the age of the bird, but you should be able to tell by looking at the crop how much is a good amount of food.
