Hiya both, got to be honest with you, don't think that sweet corn should be in a earthy beef stew. Heaps of root vegetables. And try to tempt Tara into dumplings. Magical. Mint sauce with Chicken 🐔🍗🤔?? Each to their own. My mum insisted on Yorkshire Pudding every Sunday. Friday is fish'n'chips day. Sadly I'm old enough to remember way back,when Cod or Rock (Huss) with chips cost 1/6d ( 10p new decimal coins) that was 1/-for the fish. 6d for the chips. Now it's Card payments 💳💳💳Allan&Family

sorry for the late reply, is was sweetcorn or baked beans ! and Tara said definitely no to the dumplings. she than asked what is wrong with mint sauce with chicken ?? lol

And sadly a longer time for me to reply to your reply. Re the recently stated saga of " Mint Sauce " Have ether of you, but mainly Tara, have you watched " The Durham Vloger " nice chap, Kevin. Reason for the shout out. He almost has mint sauce on everything. But you did get me thinking about : Why did Roast Beef get, Yorkshire Pudding, mustard and horseradish? Lamb, mint or onion sauce?. Pork, sage&onion stuffing or apple sauce?? Chicken gets to share sage & onion. Why did our forefathers chose these combinations 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🐔🐄🐷🐑Just askin' enjoy the rest of the week Allan&Family

@AllanNeaves-qn3zr hi Allan sorry for the late reply again, but this one made us think. personally i think they got the accompliments spot on, clever bunch weren't they ? the question for the 21st century is red or brown on a bacon roll ? we will check out the durham vlogger and get back to you on that one. cheers Graham and Tara
