Try sizzling your pineapple in the pan you fry up the gammon in. It caramelized and gets even sweeter.

Hello from Michigan! It will be in the high 90's all week, so I made 5 dinners on Saturday morning. The plan is to microwave dinner each night with almost no clean up. We are also team ham and pineapple. Delicious!😊

All of it looks great and that is most definitely a chicken salad, a great looking one at that. I love a jacket potato with chili or baked beans on it, but I'll have to give it a go with tuna salad.

It was very common when I was young for families to always have fish on a friday, I believe it was something to do with religion, its not so common now. Great idea about thesteak bakes, I make them for my husband but only the small ones. I'm not that far away from you but we didn't have any thunder etc. Thank you for sharing Cheryl xxx

Hi! We were just in your lovely country the last two days! I recognized so many of your groceries and foods from watching your videos! We had Cullen skink, minced beef and tatties just to name a few things we tried. Oh, we had haggis too! I loved it! Looks delicious. My meals of the week were. Monday - Chicken curry and rice. Tuesday - Left over curry with a baked potato. Wednesday - Sausage, mash, peas and onion gravy. Thursday - McDonalds; chicken selects meal. Friday - Pizza. Saturday - Steak, chips and peas. Sunday - I normally do a roast but today is Father's day and dad wanted lasagne and garlic bread so that is what I made. Also made sherry trifle for pudding.

Trying to get the two men I'm boarding with for the time being in Ireland (one brother, one friend) to watch your channel so we can cook ANYTHING but fried sliced potatoes and onions; frozen mixed veggies; and chicken kiev (plus gravy) or sausages (with gravy) every night of the week. I will check out your recipes. Your chips (fries here) look fabulous. I want to show my husband the part where you spoon beans onto whipped potatoes - just so I can watch him fall off the couch. Being on the west coast of Scotland puts you nearer to me in Wisconsin USA (The Dairy State). Tasty video. 🤔 I think I might eat beans on a baked potato. 💜💜💜

Hawaiian Pizza with ham and pineapple was the creation of a Greek-Canadian and has no connection to Hawaii, but that apparently was the brand name of the canned pineapple that he used.

I remember hay making time many moons a go, as a child on my grandparents farm in Ireland, helping my gran bake loaves, make vast mounds of sandwiches, heaps of salads, cheeses & cold meats, pitchers of juices & taking the big picnics to the fields for the workers to enjoy , precious memories!🥰

Your salad plates are always outstanding. I saw the Gammon and the fish fillets in the shopping video and they are both massive. You have made them both look very appetizing. I love all of your plating ideas. Do you ever make your own cheese slaw? I'd like to try it. Is it creamy coleslaw with grated cheddar? Your Mashed potato recipe is the best I've ever had. I'm hooked on your Mash n Beans and your Tuna Potato with corn. Sad about the jacket potato from Aldi. McCain does make a great potato product. I really want to try both of your Curry recipes. It will have to be for one cause my son doesn't like curry. TY I love seeing what you make from the ingredients in your grocery shopping trip. I'd love to see some breakfasts if you have time once in a while. Love you.

Your salads have been lovely this week, so colourful! Those little cucumbers you got at Aldi looked nice too. Are they sweeter or just like a small version of a regular sized one? The fish was a good size. Sadly I can't shop at Aldi as, like Lidl, they don't provide any disabled scooters, or I would go. I always watch your unbaggings! Hope Jasper is well, he hasn't popped his head in for a while.🐱

Your meals look so tempting even a jacker potato with salad &, tuna looks like a gourmet meal!! 😊 when I do that for tea it dosent look as tempting as yours Cheryl!! 😂 a nice selection of meals as well. That’s chicken curry - a former landlord of mine - his idea of chicken curry is cold sliced chicken roll of the type that you get from the deli counter in a supermarket with chip shop style curry sauce ladled over it!

Your meals look delicious. The only downside for me is the carbohydrate count. Rice and chips would be over double my dinner allowance. Easy enough to change to suit. For the curry i would be going to a West-Indian grocery. Jamaican curry is delicious. A very different fkavour to either Indian or Chinese. I'm getting ideas, though.
