You can't beat smoked haddock, or as i called it as a child, yellow fish. My mum used to just poach it milk and served it with peas , mash or new potatoes. Yummy. Its brilliant in a fish pie. Have a great rest of the week xx

Meals look lovely as always Cheryl. I always do my roast potatoes now in the air fryer. I do marmite ones, obviously I know marmite is not everyone's cup.of tea, but if you like marmite they are to die for!! Nothing wrong with a plate of beige, mac & cheese & cauliflower, delicious

Hi Cheryl! Was in Scotland this week! We did some shopping and the Aldi has so many more ready to cook items than in the US. It was fun seeing some of the items you use weekly. Love love ❤❤ Scotland. Two days of cooler, cloudy weather and the rest of week was sunny! Sending ❤ from Ohio!

Have you tried cooking a whole chicken in the air-fryer yet, comes out really juicy & delicious, cook upside down for first half of the recommended cooking time, then flip over for second half comes out perfect & ideal in warmer weather when you dread having the oven on. I once heard on the radio someone saying Scottish people R cheapskate and although Australian I have 50% Scottish ancestry and I just want to say " where it with pride Scottish" because I wouldn't be able to afford my cheap holiday packages without saving on supermarket shopping and everything else. My husband loves it because 95% of the time we save money and eat at home but if it is a special occasion I will look at cheap pub meals. Meals at most bar sections of the pub R half the price of the bistro section. Often they include a small beer or soda in the deal also......I went to one for my Older Mum's Birthday the other day and it was a friday and for every meal bought in the front bar you get a ticket to win prizes....bottles of wine, large meat packs.....We didn't win anything the other day but there is few people in the bar so the chances of winning something is pretty good.

Plate of beige. 😄 We occasionally end up with a plate of beige also. It's not intentional AND there are always comments at the table when it happens. Love watching what you've had for the week. Glad to hear someone's having nice weather. We've had an unusual year here so far.
