Question - what settings would you have to change if you entered your raw data into list 1 and it's displaying an error

It says "dimension error".

@@ariisair as far as mine calculator, it only says dimension error when you try to hit the F1='1-var" button before you list your raw data. I put my data first, i press the F1 and see my results.

I think that seven randomly selected students is a sample (the size of the sample is smaller than populations). The population would be all the students who took the test. So, i got a little confused when you said tha "sx" is a sample population. What does that mean? And if you meant sx is the standard deviation of the sample, then shouldnt we use this instead of σx ?

Hi, you would use sx for a sample from the overall population and σx to find the actual standard deviation given the data for the entire population. Effectively, sx is an estimate for the s.d when we only have a sample.
