I met with Randy on several occasions. He was a great guy to me and my family. He took pictures every time he saw me and my son. My favorite was in Baltimore in his dressing room with Ms Elizabeth. He played with my son while I sat and talked to his wife. He was very protective of her but he always let his guard down when we were with him. My family and I miss him very much. Truly one Macho Man. He was the best

I was sent down to the WWF from Boston as a Killer Kowalski student that was being used as an extra or enhancement talent but slot of the wrestlers liked me so they hung out with me before,during and after matches so that's how I got to meet them. My son was only 7 but he was in love with Elizabeth and she loved him too. So we all became great friends

No doubt. More charisma than all the other guys put together. Loved his intensity on the mic. He'd lower his voice to almost a whisper, then explode. Fantastic in the ring as well. On his feet or flying off the top rope with the elbow. I have heard that he was very protective of Elizabeth to.the point where he'd lock her in a closet so the other guys couldn't get near her.

Me too. People seem to idolize Jim Ross so much, and I have much respect for JR too, but for me, "Mean" Gene is the best non-wrestling personality not named Bobby Heenan. Even before Savage died, I missed him. Savage delivered a punch with so much flair (no pun intended) that no one could compare. Everything he did was golden.

Mene Jene Was the greatest thing that happened to the WWF. When I was a kid in the early 80’s I enjoyed watching him and his interviews more than the wrestling matches, no ones ever had a voice like this man since then. The man is timeless and I dont think he’s aged in 40 years!
