What’s the movie Mean Girls about?
Raised in the African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) thinks she knows about "survival of the fittest." But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 15-year-old enters public high school for the first time and falls prey to the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules that teenage girls face today.
Invited to hang out with the most exclusive clique of the school “The Plastics”, she will fall in love with the leader’s Regina George (Rachel McAdams) ex boyfriend Aaron Samuels. Engaging in a tricky double dealing, Cady will progressively become like the rest of the group and lose herself in the process.

People keep talking about Rachel but Lindsay is totally killing this scene as well. Her performance brings the realism to the scene, its like shes not even acting its so natural. And the crazy part is that shes a disney star here and her last movie was the typical overdramatic loud mouth character that disney stars play. The fact that she could bring so much subtlety yet still display her fish out if water emotions so well is crazy.

I was 13 years old when I watched this movie. I was obsessed with Lindsay Lohan, but even at 13, I already knew how good of an actor Rachel was. Her first movie ever was The Hot Chick, where she switches body with a criminal. In a recent interview, she said that was the hardest character she's ever done. She's such a phenomenal actor.

I haven't seen this movie, but from what I'm seeing in this clip, Lindsay's second "uncool" group is a lot more conniving and Machiavellian than the "cool girls" group. The black-haired friend is already plotting, by planting Lindsay as a spy so she can give them "intel" on the cool girls. And that big guy seemed unnecessarily mean with the "Danny Devito" quip, chasing the short girl out of the washroom.

1. South Africa isnt the only place in Africa with white people. 2. The language she spoke with that little boy was not a South African one, sounded like swahili. Her parents had a ndebele vase and therefore they probably moved around Africa not stayed in one place. 3, she was home schooled and if we assume moving around she would have her parents accent.
