I’m plan on doin my FAA COMMERCIAL HELICOPTER ADD ON top of my fixed wing license . My question is whether DGCA Allows a pilot to hold both licenses together ? Can operate together let’s say if m working for a charter company who holds both Fixed wing and helicopters ? Second question obviously when I’m comin back with FAA CHPL AS add on I’ll be having only close to 50 hrs on type , Will DGCA ALLOW the add on commercial to be converted to Indian DGCA CHPL ALONG WITH CPL ( A ) ? Regulations in FAA IS ALLOWING THAT BUT IM CONFUSED WITH DGCA

Hello @Pilot Sierra! I want to become a helicopter pilot and have completed my Medicals and DGCA exams. Currently preparing for the RT Exam. Kindly guide me in two aspects: 1. Guidance regarding the RT exam and how to approach it? (I'm taking classes, yet I would like to know because they might ask questions with respect to Helicopters) 2. Suggestions on Flight Schools, as you have suggested, mostly in the US. The ones that I've researched about, none of them seems to be completely helping in completion of DGCA specifications.
