This video will give you a brief explanation of the popular song "Wiz Khalifa - See You Again ft. Charlie Puth " from Furious 7.
What's the meaning behind the song "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth?
See you again by Wiz Khalifa broke the billboard and it has almost 6 billion views on youtube. It is one of the best emotional songs ever.
So What's the meaning behind the song "See You Again"?
Well, almost all of us know that the song was a farewell tribute to the late actor Paul Walker who lost his life in a car accident, and the narrator recalls his friendship with Paul. But there is more to the story. It is a song that represents the closeness and bond of two friends, "See You Again" also could mean a friend who has passed away, and the narrator will see his beloved friend again when he dies "but that's my point of view".
Charlie wrote this song when he was asked to write a song that would pay tribute to Walker's life. Although he later revealed that he also lost a close friend who got him through a lot of hard times and he died in a motorcycling accident.
Before the song starts playing in Furious 7 Dom or Vin says "It's never goodbye", this line is very significant.
The ending scene of Furious 7 where Vin and Paul (Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner) go separate ways, represents that no matter where they are or which path they take, they will always be together.
In the song, Charlie mainly represents sadness, Whereas Wiz mainly focuses on the good times they had.
I could make a whole video (possibly an hour-long video) going through each line of the lyrics and the meaning behind them.
This song will always hold a special place in my heart.
