Definitely in pass pro. Went from c- to A there. I’d say the run blocking fell off a cliff. Mafah was banged up but there were no lanes to be found. Partly due to zone run scheme, gotta work on a way to find balance this year

Wes Goodwin lost his DC position after his poor showing against South Carolina. He pulled Sammy Brown out in the fourth quarter when the defense had contained the QB. Sammy Brown was still leading tackler for that game. Fans were furious and Dabo couldn’t explain the decision.

They didn’t pull Sammy brown they switched to a 4-2-5 and were rotating between a few backers so brown just saw very limited snaps. Still yet who tf knows why they went to a 4-2-5 against the run.

It will be interesting to see how Clemson handles Tom Allen's speaking disability. At Penn State he had to sit in the booth, call in the play to an analyst, then the analyst used radio comms to the MLB. It was a game of phone tag. The players couldn't understand what Allen was saying during games.

When Allen arrived at PSU, he inherited the third ranked defense in the entire country. And after just one season at Penn State, PSU’s defense fell five spots to number eight. Long story short: I wish Allen well, but as a Penn State fan, and I think I speak for many of us, we are okay with his departure.
