I ran across this. I'm not Jewish and know very little of the Jewish faith but something made me stop and sit down and listen. I dropped what I'd been doing and closed my eyes and listened. I'm thankful that I did. I'm an older woman, alone, just recovering from my 2nd heart attack and am facing eviction from my home as I could no longer work and while I did apply for disability, it's taking months. I've been thankful every day, though, and never lose sight of the blessings I do have. Today, listening to this video, was my blessing for the day. It uplifted me and caused me to be still, to learn something. Thank you so much. ♥

I had to go to court but i knew i would get it because everyone at the court house talked to him. If i see him out he always talks to me. Another thing my husband did would shake his head yes to everything i said. He didnt do that on purpose but that clinched the deal. I also called all the time. If you lived in Louisville i would give you his name. Hang in there because you will get it and all the back pay. They send all these complicated letters and i couldnt fill out so i went to SS building and the guy said just sign your name. I said i didnt fill it out and he said dont worry. Lol. I have believed most of my life that our souls move on after death. That there's "life after life", but watching my husband pass this past Easter Sunday and feel I know, I don't just think. He passed after 10 years with congestive heart failure, his last 9 months were very difficult. He had said he was afraid of dying even though he believed deeply in God. At the end a few hours before passing he watched someone or something near the ceiling as he lay in his hospital bed and raised his arms up as if reaching. I prayed that he would pass peacefully. He asked that everything be stopped. Remove IV's, dialysis machine, oxygen and the doctor and my kids and I honored his request. His blood pressure dropped and he passed peacefully. I'm often guided by him to watch a movie about being widowed or about the spiritual end of death. I was guided by him tonight to watch this video. I am trying to honor him in every way I can. I talk to him as well and pray. It's been 2 months now. Seeing him pass connected me to the mystical, to the reality there's so much more than this world. I feel he's well and I will see him again. Thank you and God bless you for such a wonderful and deep video. I saw it at a time I really needed it.

G_d bless you Rabbi, I am a Christian who strives to understand Jewish thought and philosophy. Your refrigerator example/story helped me accept lessons I had already learned in a richer, more meaningful way. Thank you for the lesson. I inherited the responsibility of caring for and learning from a female cockatiel who came to me at work about 9 years ago. She had been loose and fending for herself for a long time. I had been praying for understanding the spiritual gifts and my focus was on wings for reasons I will leave unexplained. I am a water utility operator and I was outside at a facility when I saw yellow pass by me out of the corner of my eye. I look down and here's this cockatiel hopping around on the hot concrete. I said to her "you're not supposed to be out here, where do you belong?" She stared up at me and I thought she might be thirsty. I went to my service truck and got a bottle of water. It was almost 100 degrees F outside. I drank half and cut the top out of the bottle to share with her. She drank the water and stared up to me as if to say "your move." I was sure this bird would never come to me. She was scrawny and barely surviving by herself. I put my hand down palm first and she immediately ran up my arm and on to my shoulder. We have been friends ever since that day. Knowing that there are no accidents in the wonder of life, I realized she was a gift from G_d so I named her Gloria. She's my most cherished friend other than my wife and children. I continue to learn from her about love and responsibility, respect for life and the wonderful beauty that G_d provides us. I am in awe every time I realize that G_d blessed me with an example of love for us by sending me a friend to share with and to learn from. I struggle with feeling detached and trying to see life from Gloria's perspective grants an insight more valuable than any material possession. Blessings to one/all, I felt compelled to share.

Sometimes the tiniest of beings can shed light on our own humanity. I look at all Gods creatures as intelligent now, not just the furry ones! From the small jumping spider and western fence lizards in my yard, to my two abandoned feral kittens, to the young crow building a nest for her first time, its all a lesson. Today so many people take life of the planet, life of the animals, the oceans and even each other for granted. I see horrible statements in posts and you wonder where are the minds of these people, so shallow, hateful and narcissistic you just wonder where are their minds???? The best thing as the rabbi said, is keep to a soulful path and try to share any inspiration and insights to those that don’t. If they don’t take it we move on...the best thing is to be good and kind when when we can. The world will only survive if we recognize everything is tied together and love is one of our biggest keys.

@@everettwalker9141 I normally do. I believe that Jesus is the embodiment of everything the learned men of Israel sought and are still seeking. He is my savior and the example to be followed. I choose to use "G_d" out of recognition that "God" is an extremely generic term for something indescribable. Fashioned the universe and its detail at every magnitude without limit and knows all things physical and nonphysical. I can describe Jesus because of His willingness to give everything to save us. "Greater love," indeed. That which formed and moves the universe is beyond my ability to fully comprehend, so in a peculiar way using the name "God" is very limiting. I do my best to keep from putting G_d in a box as much as possible. I hope that helps.

I’ve asked the same questions. For me I’ve found some comfort in Near Death Experiences. Of course these are people who have returned, but most have similar experiences. Some go to a void of nothing, they feel peaceful but there’s nothing there. Some go to the dark places and suffer all sorts of horrors, the ones we hear in NDE’s speak of calling to God and being rescued by the light. Most people go to a sort of heavenly holding area, they meet family and go through some kind of life review where they feel their own experiences again, but also the experiences of others in their life. In heaven they feel more love and joy then anything here. They see colours that don’t exist here. They say everything is alive, the grass, trees, rocks, everything, and light comes from everything. They also say this world feels like a shadow then, because that place feels like home and feels more real than anything here.
@Paul_Om Жыл бұрын
Many years ago, I had a mind-boggling, life-transforming Near Death Experience during which I emerged completely SYMPTOM-FREE from a 3-day "irreversible coma" with a clear recollection of all that had transpired. Auspiciously, that day was YOM KIPPUR. The doctors were stunned since they had said that there was virtually no chance of survival and that, if I did indeed survive, there would have been severe brain/organ damage. With the out-of-body experience common to many NDEers, it was clear to me that there was indeed another perspective from which one could view the greater aspect of the Reality. It was also clear that the life-energy continued even after the physical body was left behind. This is consistent with what has been said in this video. This experience also gave me insight into the nature of the body-mind-spirit connection and the nature of healing (both physical and mental). This led me to a life-time search on HOW to shift one's attention so that one could soar to the heights in the sky of consciousness and be able to see for one's self from that alternate perspective whenever one's earthly situation warranted it. My direction shifted towards eastern practices which worked very well for me. I also explored the "dying before death" practices common to Tibetan Buddhism, Sufism, Yoga, and other wisdom traditions. This allows one to better see for one's self the Big Picture regarding the nature of the Reality. It might interest you to know that, in my quest, I met one-on-one with a Tibetan Buddhist monk who wrote/lectured about watching his master raise a monk from the dead and then guide him properly through the Bardos (death transitions). In Yogananands's "Autobiography of a Yoga", there is a whole chapter about a young man who literally returned from the dead and described what his death experience was like. There were many similarities between that chapter and my own NDE. There are stories in every wisdom tradition about people rising from the dead (E.G., Elijah and the widow's son) but very little written or said about what they experienced in that "dead" state. In addition, continuing education classes for mental health professionals now address ADCs (after death communications) which are far more common than most people suspect. Your comment triggered this stream of consciousness as I have always been more interested in HOW to discover this for one's self as opposed to getting second hand-info from others. The second-hand information, like my NDE, should serve as a catalyst to discovering Truth for one's self. My teachers pointed me to the illuminating direct validating experiences as a true teacher should do.

@@Manon4069 Thank you so much for the kind words, Manon from Egypt. I loved visiting your country many years ago. Since this video is Jewish-oriented, a Jewish book that I would highly recommend is "Meditation and the Bible" by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan. In it, he analyzes the nuances of the actual words used in the Hebrew scriptures and reveals HOW the Jewish prophets attained their elevated states. He notes that there are only a limited number of ways of approaching the depths of the "mind" and what he wrote is consistent with one approach that I have gleaned from sages from the various wisdom traditions throughout the world. He also goes into detail on the PROCESS of revelation. In a book written by one of his students (Kabbalah by Perle Epstein, a great-great---granddaughter of the Baal Shem Tov), comparisons were made between Jewish mysticism and the mysticism of the east (The Tree of Life vs. the Chakras and so on). When one probes the depths of consciousness, one discovers the underlying universality in the wisdom traditions ... since Truth is Truth regardless of the obscuring externals, rituals, and dogmas.

When one learns that the "self" is NOT the physical body, but rather the creator's divine "Soul" that we refer to as "self", we learn we are "Eternal" as Paramahansa Yogananda teaches us in Kriya Yoga, the scientific method of Self-Realization in his Self Realization Fellowship. Once we learn of ourselves as spirit, we learn that spirit is not of the physical plane and NOT subject to its laws, hence we have nothing to fear, ever. The ever loving Creator that embued our bodies with his divine aspect-made in his image meant for our souls to experience many different realities in many different forms. The enormity of our connection with the Creator is beyond human understanding, because our souls are NOT human. They are of the creator, and what an honor it is to have this bestowed upon us. Truly it is our duty to promote the light of love everywhere along with compassion for all beings as we all share the same maker. Namaste, and May God bless all beings. Edward William Case

Keep up your teachings, I'm sure God is behind it and guiding you. People today are struggling for guidance and do not know where to look for it. I recall many years ago a jewish friend of mine introduced me to the famous Rabbi Schneerson from Brooklyn, New York who also made a great impression upon me in spite of the fact that he did not speak any English. He was originally from Hungary and was able to escape the holocaust. Continue your good work, you are ministering to many people of different backgrounds. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR ENDEAVORS !

Sir rabbi. If there is an afterlife and it looks like there is according to what l seen when l died for 3 days. If someone told me when l was in my mums belly that soon l will come out of that water and there was a world out side. I couldn't even imagine this world nore would l be able to fully belive it. Death could be the saim thing. Who knows. But you give very nice and clever lessons on how to live the life we are living right now. You are a good man Sir. ❤

you spoke of things I have pondered many times in my life. you said it perfectly. We as humans can not see the entire picture but only our pixel or a few pixels in the painting of life. Some see more of the painting then others care to but we are all limited to life as we know it only while we are in this body state. We all need to keep in mind their is a picture we can not see but we are all a part of it.
