Based on what Rabbi Jacobson said at 9:18, there has been a yearly ad in the Views and The Link for a few years on Erev Pesach of kids asking the father for a cellphone so they can text him their requests. Today, parents give more attention to ppl via text than face to face.

With G-d, there's always more. To help learn truth, to shed light on, but not enforce the truths. Loyalty love, G-d honors and values. Creation, growth, personal obedience. Someone's deep personal beliefs and feelings need to be respected. Out of loyalty, they may have to fake deny something, do we want to bust people down, what about variety and leavening. My advice would be a lesson from buddhism: attachment is the root of all suffering. I’d go further and say definitely allow yourself joys and happiness but accept and try to embrace change as the only constant in this universe.
