I thought I'd heard all of Dan's covers already until earlier today when another reaction channel did a reaction to this song partly as a reaction & also as a memorial tribute to Dan's guitarist friend, Rapha, who's featured in this song. I'd heard Dan had a close friend pass away last week, but I hadn't heard who it was until today. May he RIP. Apparently, they've been friends for about 15 yrs. As for this song, I'd never heard of the group nor this song until now & love it. I'm also going to chk out the original version and other stuff they've done. If the rest of their music is this good, I'm looking forward to hearing it. You definitely did give a good description of Dan, Josh. He's amazing.

G'day Josh, Yep, Dan doin' Dan things again and absolutely blowin' it out of the water. I've yet to see anything Dan has done that isn't absolute perfection... He is just that good. Like you, I went to check out the original and, while it was very good and I liked it, I still prefer Dan... but I'm more than a little biased when it comes to this stunningly gorgeous Brazilian...🤤 I've found the same with other covers he has done, that the original is good but Dan's is soooo much better. If you haven't already done so, please check out his version of "Sleeping Sun", it's so beautiful and emotional and ethereal and all around better than the original, imho...☺️ Thanks to Dan I'm being educated about different genres of music that previously I would have bypassed. Having been born and grown up in the 60s, 70s and early 80s, with the "safe" rock 'n' roll of those times, metal was not exactly my cuppa tea, but as I settle into the decrepitude of old age I think, "Why the friggin' hell not!!" and I gotta say I'm thoroughly enjoying the lessons... especially when the teacher looks like Daniel Vasconcelos...😆 🙃🐨🇦🇺

@grandy2875 -- The only thing I had against metal, "back in the day," was that so many of the singers didn't make GOOD harmonics with their screams and growls, and I wanted to throw their noise out of the window! I can listen to the very same songs (lots of them with EXCELLENT AND IMPORTANT WARNINGS -- in "coded language" pretty much like we have to use a lot in today's world) if DAN sings them -- because he and GOOD harmonics are the same thing. He LIVES and then lets us HEAR the types of harmonics and overtones that SOOTHE the ears...not the other way around. It's true, even when it's just a "single Dan" singing, but when he backs that up with those small-to-large choirs of himself, OH, MY WORD! I just want to stop and listen, and never, never, EVER turn the music off!
