Joro spiders are actually very timid, more so than native spiders. They have been observed catching the brown marmorated stink bug, another invasive species that native spiders have not been known to eat, and it has also been hoped that they may consume mosquitoes and flies. Some hope that the impact of the species will be positive due to their harmless nature and consumption of primarily invasive or nuisance insects.

01:25 I have four "rats" that are over 18 inches (including tail) and weigh roughly 1.5kg each (Gambian pouched rats). They're more than capable of chewing through about 5cm of concrete in 60 minutes but are some of the cuddliest, intelligent and loving creatures you're ever likely to come across ;)

Americans: The CBS TV show Ghosts is going to Germany. Rest of the world: So, the BBC TV show Ghosts, being remade by the BBC in Germany, was also remade in the USA. Good to know.

CBS 'Ghosts' was already a remake of the UK 'Ghosts'.

Ghosts is actually a UK show that the US copied and made their own version of, so the German version is actually #3

Ah, excuse me Paramount +, “Ghosts” was originally a British sitcom. So, the German remake is the second knockoff….. Meanwhile….

I remember imaged of one of those good old b&w horror films about a giant spider attacking a city. Found it: 1955's "Tarantula"

To be pedant, Ghosts is a BBC show adapted for the US and produced by CBS. So, the German show is not an adaptation of a CBS show. It's just another adaptation of the original British show, this time in Germany. Just as the German "The Office" (Stromberg) is not an adaptation of the US show "The Office". They are both adaptations of the original BBC show "The Office". Sorry, I've been talking to MAGAs and it has me furious and in a mood where I'm compelled to firefight misinformation with facts.
