cool little device, but i fail to see how this is really any better than one from Aliexpress for basic measuring. Asuming you do are able to work out the size of a room manually. Also, built in batteries in devices like this can go and get in the sea! 🤣

I think this one wins for being a cool little modular device, but yeah, if you just want a basic measure, there are cheaper options available. Not sure I understand what you mean by 'batteries can go and get in the sea'. What, for a swim? How do batteries get in the sea?
