My slider has a long part to hang on to as you slide it right n left.thst sticks out as far as the window frame depth???

How do you put a blind into a recess window when a lintell is involved

You'll have to check our how to measure instructions on our website as well, which advises you to check the depth of your recess, and make note of any obstructions like lintels. Depending on your particular lintel and it's position, you may be able to front roll your blind, which may avoid the lintel.
