Measuring for a New Headsail - Tips and Tricks from Venice

This week we are in the beautiful city of Venice, but we are not out sightseeing. Instead, we are measuring Gargoyle for a brand-new head sail. Yes, after 35,000 nautical miles, our sails need a refresh. We have selected Mauri Pro Sailing, a sailing company for which we are proud to be Ambassadors, to build our new sails. This is a big decision, and we had a lot of choices. In the end, it came down to the Mauri Pro Sailing focus on performance in all aspects of sailing, their excellent customer service and ability to ship anywhere in the world. So here goes, let’s get our measurements done and spend some money!
