Somewhere in all these voices are me and my father singing and him whispering in my ear this was his song for my mom. He died the following spring. This song will always be a special memory to me. 💙

There’s nothing like a Philadelphia audience! But there’s nothing like a Meat Loaf experience either. Well, maybe going to see Bruce, but that’s apples and oranges, especially to a Jersey Girl. I just loved Meat Loaf. I had to take my “work husband” every time I went to see him because my husband would get too jealous and could never see what I saw in him or his music. I cried when I heard he died and the last time I cried for a celebrity who died was for Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. You did a real favor for Meat Loaf people. This was excellent. Besides seeing him at The Spectrum, I also saw him at the Chestnut Cabaret and I was right in front. Merely feet away and I actually felt drops of his sweat. I was enthralled. What a voice and what a presence.

That's a nice video indeed! Good sound and not really painfull to watch - which is good in this case :) And Meat Loaf, well, he gives everything, every time.
