Meat pilaf
the ingredients
4 small onions
3 tablespoons ghee
1 kilo of meat
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
Half a teaspoon of paprika
3/4 cup of dried apricots
3/4 cup of raisins
Half a cup of boiling water
4 cups basmati rice, soaked for half an hour
fillo sheets or saj bread
melted ghee for brushing
Quarter cup of hot water
Half a teaspoon of saffron or turmeric

Cook meat with onions for 40 minutes
Boil rice 7 minutes
cook the pilaf pot in the oven at 170 degrees for an hour with the lid on, then half an hour without the lid
