Having these episodes interspersed with season 12 is freaking awesome. Loving this series! Great thinking on how to deliver this.

Season 11 was awesome. If season 12 is half as good as season 11 it’s going to be a good season. There was only eight episodes of season 11 though. That’s a lot of hunting to do in one year

Her reaction to the bull she shot was hysterical. She barely cracks a smile and robotically says "that was awesome." Having zero personality is fine, but if you are chosen to be in a hunting video you need to be at least somewhat entertaining.

While watching the whopping 6 episodes in season 12, I was thinking that there should definitely be more episodes with how many hunters there are in that group. I guess the TV show is just for Steve episodes and everyone else gets a YT video. I guess it doesn't matter either way.

I went WTD hunting with my dad 2 weeks ago and I got him set up in a good spot. He ended up taking a beautiful buck. To say I was so proud and happy for him is an understatement. I almost jumped out of my stand. Gave him the biggest hug ever when I got to him. One of my best life memories ever. Hunting isn’t about killing an animal. It’s a complete life altering journey people can share together. My dad had a smile ear to ear the whole weekend as we relived his story and accomplishment.

The trick to not getting "barred out" is to pack only bars you know you don't like, but that sound really good by name or description. That way when you swap with your buddy you know that no matter what you don't have to eat that nasty thing and he (or she) thinks they are getting some awesome wonder bar. Also pack some peanut butter because it is calorie dense and makes any bar taste better. Great hunt!

Every time they talk, they are doing the same thing with their hands, moving it with their fingers trying to stretch out and grab something. Newbie question: Both Jordan and Janis seem to carry a small sidearm (as well as bear spray?). It seems like a small caliber for bear defense/deterrent?
@thomasjosephson4428 Жыл бұрын
A lot of people are proponents of using a semi-auto 10 mm pistol for bear defense. The idea is that you have more shots, and are more likely to make accurate shots with a smaller pistol rather then a big .44 mag. The truth is whether your shooting a .44 Magnum or a 9mm you are very underguned for a bear encounter. I tend to carry a .44 mostly because that's what I have and I'm too cheep to go guy another pistol.
