Fished bomb in the margins with meat over groundbait including riddled meat on Saturday at an old estate lake I have permission on - had a handful of tench before the carp moved in and gave great sport- It’s a fantastic way to fish.

What a fantastic sesslon of 2 halfs 20 or so pristine looking skimmers followed up maybe 60 to 80 lb of proper carp for well less than a tenners worth of bait if only things were that simple during a match given that you were fishing an empty lake

Warm summer days feeder fishing when the fish are in the upper layers can be difficult. I tried a floating feeder with micro pellets in and a 6mm pellet on the hook and had an unbelievable day. I've since used this method with great success but never seen anyone do a tutorial on it, is this something you have tried and is this method allowed in feeder matches?
