What I love about close quarters is that Arc Torrents and Shotguns can wipe out several weakened Mechs caught together. All you need to do is get close enough and even a proper aim is not required.

The best counter to Zephyr+arc torrents are Missile racks. Just need to be quick enough in that narrow space and alpha strike will do the rest

Panther is also a good mech to pair with shotguns or arc torrents because. U can use ur shield to get close without receiving any damage. And it'll be hard for ur opponent to make it to the other side of the barrier because of he stasis affect. Therefore giving u just enough time to melt their hp.

I love combining the Killshot with 2 shotguns, it makes a very powerful mech. From my point of view, I think close quarter weapons are better for ambushing enemy mechs, with their small range and ammo, they don't work well in an open battlefield. Right now, I'm trying to get Arc Torrent 6 to deal more damage. The less time I stay in a fight, the better

Hello there Devs, i have an idea to make the Legendary skins of mechs more fun to use. You can make the skins have a special effect on the abilities of the mechs, for example: the Unicorn skin from lancer have a rainbow trail on its ability, the Raptor skin from zephyr have a Roar sound or sound wave with its ability, the Astronaut skin from brickhouse have planets that will be circling brickhouse when ability is active, the Gingerbread skin from stalker have an aura of snowflakes or snow when ability is active and etc. This will make the legendary skins of the mech more fun, have a more good look and makes the skins worth getting

Don’t you know that panther with arc torrents are almost unstoppable, it’s because you can simply use the static barrier and then u can’t die while in a matter of a few seconds, the enemy gets destroyed and the speed of death helps the static barrier make u unkillable

There’s a solution to the problem listed at 3:00. You can just upgrade an arc torrent range implant. It doesn’t have to be even epic or legendary… a maxed out rare range increase implant can extend the range to 50m.

The brick house would melt from lead and missiles before reaching their intended target, Tbh surge can easily equip the short and deadly arsenal The storm dash ability of surge allows to trap not only 1 mech, and would easily 1 hit the enemy behind its back

I've only used arc torrents during the specialisation events. I get a lot of misfire - pushing the button and nothing spits out, but somehow the energy still drains. I've been killed by them a lot though - obviously there is a knack to working with them. I didn't know their range expands as they level. maybe those attacks from 80 were genuine, and not cheating.

The arc torrent with kill shot makes it a godly combo as you can easily melee dash lone players and for multiple ones you can use your melee dash to get close and get rid of one and use chain shocking on the others. Also kill shots ability of melee dash takes only 4-5 seconds to recharge and arc torrent is technically a beam even though it’s not shown also it isn’t written that the arc torrent reloads on its own if it’s Magazine has some ammo which is the case for beams as beams do the same thing

Normally I usually pair Arc torrent with a Mini gun. High damage from the Mini gun. Plus the shock ability from the Arc torrent. And I pair them with Guardian.

I stop using shotguns because I die when I'm out of ammo or if I'm surrounded the ArcTorrance their are good but long reload time a close range so I decided to just have missile racks for mechs. Panther has missile rack 8 while Ares have missile rack 6 archnos have the pulse canons 8 all three do well killshot is a success with

Guardian or any other mech that has low speed is pretty bad with arc torrents or shotguns for that matter. Short range weapons are for in and out combat. That is to mean you deal your damage and get the hello out of there. Surges and zephyrs are extremely effective as you can emp them and deal back damage. Killshot is also good but it doesn’t have much energy. So for one on one combat, killshot is a good option.
