Most known as Voltron by many of you. I liked of Golion, it has that old school Super Robot vibe and it's pretty powerful. Hope to see Golion back in a future SRW.

Original Voltron was an uninspired Super Robot Cash In from the 70's that was terribly dubbed and had two CG sequels/reboots that were also awful. New one's great though.

At least they explain away why Shiro seemingly came back better in the dub rather then the stupid pure identical twin brother that never existed before then nor was mentioned. In the dub he was wounded but was being treated. So when he came back? It was actually Sven instead of his stupid stand in.

The LD Voltron was a original work (I think Toei did give Dreamworks full creative freedom) and it won't be included in SRW.

The confusing part is alot of the characters and animes featured in the Super Robot Wars franchise were released in other countries. So it boggles my mind why there isn't any English release of the games.

I not sure why the game ties Golion with GaoGaiGar, I seen a few times when the Golion is in danger, the goddess appears and even Galion react to it, although I always thought hey since Golion and GaoGaiGar have beast mechas so they are related somehow

In story, the GoLion and Galeon were made in the Tri-Star Solar System. Galeon gets sent to Earth, while GoLion was sent to the Leo Union. Also, Guy and the GoLion team went to the same training academy before they became pilots.

Golion is a solid Super Robot with five pilots' worth of seishin, and because it's the only one-unit show it can get a 1.5x bonus to exp/cash at the start. Not very powerful compared to other units - this is a game with Genesic GaoGaiGar - but Fire Tornado has Attack Down, which is pretty useful this time around. (Give Kogane the Counter skill, respond to everything with Fire Tornado, and with proper upgrades it's only The Database units that can deal more than 100 damage at a time to it.) Its introduction is great too, because it's during the Nadesico team's retreat from Mars. Because it's before the player gets a chance to upgrade those units, they're getting shot up by the Mokuren units - and then Golion shows up like a boss and stomps _everything_.

They don't make fun games like this anymore. Games like this on mobile are pay-to-win, or you'd spend hours waiting for a task to complete so you can move on. I would really like to see more games like the Super Robot Wars, especially on the newer consoles in full 3 dimensions, with some seriously butt kicking combat animations.

Well they already many pf this game and this is not a mobile game but a emulator game and its realy good but there also the mobile version of this game its super robot wars DD but if you want a graphic animation i prefer the old one because is the only emulator version that you can find from srw z . Most people would disagree on the basis that "SRW doesn't allow western mecha" but this is already proven to be pretty questionable given that Golion had already been partially owned by WEP by the time SRW W was made, and possibly might have been made by the time they completely owned it, so who can really know?

@@ayylmao575 Before the games were only released in Japan though. Now Bandai Namco Asia is releasing them in Southeast Asia and Bandai Namco's main branch is releasing them internationally on Steam as of SRW30 which even includes SSSS Gridman and as a DLC, Ultraman. (RIP Compati Hero)

​@@Alolino1605essentially World Events Productions planned a dub of 3 Mecha anime(Mirai Robo Daltanious, Kito Kantai Dairugger XV, Kousoku Denjin Albegas) so asked for tapes of all 3, due to a mistake on Toei's part the tapes for Hyakyuju Oh Golion were sent instead of the the Daltanious ones, and things went from there

The general rule of SRW game series is that every robot anime in the game will use their respective opening(endings at some times) not the western adaptation, and heck; I dont think there were majority of Japanese kids familiar to Voltrons(born from 2000s) so never say that the opening was dumb, its just that's their way(Bandai Namco Games) not from outside(of Japan) in producing SRW games.
