1:00 I just gotta say that those SnapOn ball-peen shot filled hammers are the absolute best I've ever used.

Rats and mice don't burp or fart so if you bait them with peanut butter mixed with baking soda works every time also safe for other critters to eat the dead mice or rats

Oh and, I change my own oil. Have been since Walmart wrenched my drain plug on so tight that I almost needed a new oil pan. I still have the oil change sticker on the window and leave it there on purpose in case I ever get someone else to change my oil lol.

I watched a guy at Walmart use an impact on someones oil drain plug. I mentioned it to the manager and he didnt care. So I made sure the owner knew, and that I would testify if he had to sue. He was back in a few months later for another oil change.

My daughter had an oil change done at a quick lube place. The engine check light came on shortly thereafter. The oil plug and filter were loose, causing major leaks. They also didn’t tighten the oil fill cap, so it fell off while driving, covering the entire engine with oil.

It's understandable why mechanics have high service fees since they struggle with basic arithmetic operations.

Those shaft rings "should" be designed to be replaced. In fact, every part of a car "should" be designed to be repaired/replaced part by part preferably using universal parts. Of course, that's not as profitable as forcing customers to buy new cars due to the old ones becoming too worn out and expensive to repair. I've had the misfortune of having to work on cars (and lawnmowers) and what a pain in the ass they are to work on. Whoever designed these things needs to find some other line of work. I have a lawnmower that requires me to take off the entire mowing deck (NOT easy) just to replace the dang belt. I have to take off about six parts to reach the fuel tank. Have to remove the fuel tank to get the cover off the engine. I mean, wth?

I've been saying for years that the damn engineers that get to design how things are put together should have to work in the repair sector for a year... too much crap is put in places where if you're older than like 8 you're not going to get your hand in there to work on a thing. ECM on my Hyundai is tucked under the dash next to the heater box, right? There's almost not enough slack in the harness to unplug it completely without tearing the crap out of your hands. Also have to remove the glove box to get at it. Oh, and did an oil change on our old Cavalier exactly ONCE because the oil filter was such fun to get at. Halfway up the back of the engine block above the exhaust. Had to shove my whole arm in there. Oh, and love doing oil changes on the transverse 3.6 V6... burn my hand and arm every. Single. Time. on that front catalytic converter.

In theory I agree with you but in this case you need to think just a touch more. since that reluctor ring was not machined into the axle shaft it was made to be changed , at least in a sense. The car makers and or parts sellers don't want to sell them. I have only two thoughts a to why that is. They wouldn't sell enough to be worth while or they are hard to install and would get too many returns. Either way the mechanic and the end user is screwed by a cheap part.

If you listen closely you can almost hear them singing "I can't drive and I don't care , I can't drive and I don't care , I can't drive and I don't care , the cops have gone away. (set to the tune of Jimmy cracked corn)

No wonder mechanics charge so much, they cant do simple addition. 178,788 miles and last oil change was 170,700 miles. That is DEFINITELY NOT 12,000 miles.

The guy at 21:00, yes I understand your frustration. BUT I think you should’ve asked him on the phone or however you two communicated, if his remote works on his key fob. He may have not thought to even mention that.
