i recommend freyr over diane btw, because you get lifesteal with his all stat buffs vs just basic stats, (plus you actually get more overall stats with freyr as he also gives +15% basic stats to 3 units) it makes using lifesteal back to full health much much easier, to trigger megelldas passive. The current META team is Thor, T Meli, Freyr, Megellda. you get 2 cleanse units, 3 amplify units, and a bunch of all stat buffs. ive done over 30 relic upgrades so far, so quite a lot of runs testing this and its the least rng reliant team if only because you can lifesteal back to full health to get megellda passive to trigger.

@@Maurice32-oq2bs depends on your box, keep in mind this is literally end game content. you should be able to clear floor 3 of rat (and get traitor meli relic, freyr relic, and megellda relic, maxed out cosmetics etc) before you even attempt floor 4 of the bird, as its harder than rat floor 3 allegedly.

@@Maurice32-oq2bs personally, i die to rng more than taking damage, so i run attack crit on thor, freyr, and tmeli. meg is on basic hp defense. the shorter my run is, the less i rely on card rng. Pro tip, a 1/6~6/6 thor ult, will always hit damage cap when thundergod is on, so ANY single target of hers is better than her ult, as it can bypass damage cap, meaning dont save the ult at all.

Freyr > Diane, Freyr gives +15% basic stats (from the relic) to thor, himself, meg, and +15~25% all stat buff (from his passive), so overall more than Diane, who only does basic stats. Since it also gives lifesteal, you can trigger Megellda passive by just punching the bird, no heal card rng needed. Also single target damage dealt increase to thor.

Thanks for this. The fact that the Dev are keeping boss mechanics secret and the community isn't invested enough to do more than say, Amplify and Power-Strike work, really isn't a good sign. ult removal seems to give immortality and 3rd stack removal removed the damage buffs, not certain if AoEs do too.

Hmm .. I've seen Freyr too though that places limitations/requirements of Floor 2 phase 2. I,ll probably watch through this a few times then keep it on one screen while I try it

I'm only 1min into this video, but just wanted to pop down here and say that I use Freyr over Diane, and have managed to clear it fine a few times. I do have 12.8mil box cc so I'm sure that's helping a bit, and I'm not going hard on grinding it or anything. But dang do I really wish I had that green Diane ahahaha 10:37 Yeah I'm not sure what the actual dmg threshold is, but if you do too LITTLE dmg, he gets a dmg increase buff. And doing x-amount of dmg will get rid of it.

Seems some people are saying that Freyr can be a better option offensively so that's good. And people are saying that not criting on phase 3 is when he gets the damage dealt increase.

Funny but never had a better time to farm bird relics since regular 3 floors are a joke now. Did this battle last week. My experiences are have to do stage 1 as fast as possible bcoz some of those tornados from bird destroy my whole team. Maybe there's some mechanic i didn't know. On stage 3 have to close the attacks with a skill that does critical damage or bird keep his/her attack buff. This mechanic goes to stage 4 too, so have to end my turn with critical strike. Plus bird has higher crit defense or something so harder to crit. I guess this new stage is a good addition to the game but for me do it once per week is enough.

Yeah it can be frustrating for sure. I don't think the upgrade is big enough to motivate me to farm it right now but maybe with a better team in the future I wont mind.

so for anyone wondering, Red Diane will work, but like he said, its not a 1 for 1. Green Diane is waaaay better

Got past phase 3 times, then couldn't double kill before the turn limit. Also got permanently mass effect disabled in phase 2 a lot of times.

also, i dont think that disable has a turn limit from phase 3. if you dont cleanse it i think it just stays

phase 3 is sooo annoying with it being time based, just pure RNG. Makes me want to bring albedo (if her counter works to remove the immortal stacks)

It depends on your team. I think buff cards give him tons of basic stats. Also ult increase I think.
