glycolysis process doesn't need oxygen to take place. oxygen has no relation with glycolysis

See glycolysis is a process which does not require oxygen and it is part of both aerobic and anaerobic respiration. So In the first step of aerobic respiration (glycolysis) there is no use of oxygen but it has to occur so it is also a part of anerobic respiration and in aerobic respiration only glycolysis occurs while kreb cycle and electron transport chain do not occur because they required Oxygen and anerobes do not have oxygen. so we get that glycolysis a process which occurs in both anerobic and aerobic respiration

As sir told in the first phase of aerobic and anaerobic respiration both are same and in both these phase glycolysis process take place glycolysis is v.im for both processes so we can't say that we cannot use glycolysis in aerobic respiration other whise maximum amount of enery will not released
