its basically a tanky zephyr. the emp lastest shorter but it deals damage to make up for it. u just don't get to choose when to emp the enemies.

Interesting point. Zephyr is better on the freeze part though. My little Zeph kills a LOT I have him at about 795 XP with twin Arcs, and he just hides, freezes and kills. Many surge kills w it

I think the problem is that it does what all other tanks do, but better (except aegis, but bad positioning makes it bad). Jug? Stronger hp and shields, can move fast, same energy. Ares? Same energy, but overall stronger.

I have a suggestion, please add new mechs and weapons which are not rare like Gatecrasher or Minigun, bring some interesting uncommon or common weapons, so that they are used in the game, not like some legendaries which are never used (Redox)

Still nothing to counter mortars. In fact, it's particularly vulnerable to mortars. That's quite the mistake there. I'll wait for my mushroom Mech. The one that pops up a really wide and high shield over its head for 5 seconds. 3 charges on a continuous 15s cool down. It needs to be large enough to cover multiple mechs from the blast radius of mortars.

We need to add such a tank to the game so that it is at the level of the Stalker mech. If the Stalker does a lot of damage, then this tank should provide full protection. For example, invulnerability to damage for 3-5 seconds, then a real tank turns out! Stalker now kills any tank in seconds.😎

Ive read all the below comments---Bastion is not all that. Takes a TON of money to get its XP up for larger weapons. Mines 4 star level 7 but the shield doesnt last very long when others are shooting it, and Ive not had it kill much when it explodes. Unless iM WRONG, MINE ONLY EXPLODES WHEN iM KILLED?? We should be able to bring it up, then hit space again to use it but not die. Sort of like Gatecrasher golden beam

My only complaint is that he basically invalidates all other tanks. He’s better than juggernaut or ares, brickhouse has been considered weak for a while, and aegis, while powerful, has a much in her ability than this. This guy is just borderline broken

I absolutely love the Bastion Mech. I’ve have been blasting the pee-pee out of an average of 5 enemy mechs per battle, by using a dual set of level 8 rail guns… but after watching this video, I’m going to try out a disk weapon in addition to the rail gun and see what happenstance. Sadly, the Bastion Mech isn’t a final solution to the needs of a team because it is vulnerable to death from both, missiles from above, and mines from below. But, it is a helluva nice weapon to deploy, and to play, especially when you are playing with solid players, in a solid team match setting. I love being the tank on my team. 😊😊😊 (Note: We players really could use an awesomely good training grounds practice area where we can try out various mech & weapons setups without 😢 actually having to go into a battle situation where a loss could really hurt our daily, weekly, or in a contest of some sort. 😮😮😮 Cops and soldiers in the real world train in a walk through area, with places where the bad guys can hide, and where a timer keeps track of how fast the walkthrough went, and that uses pop up targets for practice shootouts. We need a practice area to try out new mechs and weapons. We could even make it a contest for rewards, and also use it for trying out new team members to see if they’re a good fit for the team. Please let me know if I’m crazy, or if there is a cool training grounds already.

Mostly though, in a battle where the other side has one---it goes through us like a plague and wipes us all out. Havent played with orion. I have p[anther at over 1300 XP and am still disappointed. It dies easily! Usually wait till the other side is weakened, and Ive lost my first 4, then take panther in for a fast 4 or 5 kills before someone blows me away. I dont think its fair to let a surge in on a game with usually all lower mechs. Id love to see an ALL SURGE free for all---that where player skill would show

Sadly yeah Panther can die easily at times I use my mechs like this - Surge(4 stars) for one shot sneak, freeze and kill attacks, - Panther(6 stars at 28 energy cap) for mid range, barrier trap and kill or head on attacks - Orion(4 stars) as sniper The other two slots rotate with Redox, Zephyr or Arachnos. In the beginner level fights Arachnos was my ace but that mech is soooo slow, love the mech but with all the supports and scouts, it's not easy to keep it alive or dodge attacks effectively

Folks, I am not FOR them or defending them, but they are the nets largest game site. Very profitable. This is a FOR PROFIT company and without income it wouldnt be here. That said, I was getting mad about they way they trap you into spending---some is unfair like the 3 or 4 for 1 specials that dont tell you how much the next fees are after the first, etc. Then they went and made our currently owned big mechs like Panthers SO EXPENSIVE to upgrade. But---after spending about $800 in three months ve playing for TWO YEARS to get the same hanger, Ive hit a wall. Wife wants to kill me for spending that money. So ya'll can gripe about the fees but dont forget you dont have to pay. If you are younger, take the time to play your hanger up/ Im 68 and dint want to take the time.
