How do you get 1440p? Resolutions I see are all 4:3 aspect ratio

I can't be sure if Colonel Renard was getting his orders secretly from Archon Katrina or if he just acted on his own, but he sure did make a mess of things on Carver V. Paid the price for it in the end. This game gives me trouble to run, but once I manage to get it working it's still SO much for me. The mechlab is a bit too free in how you can outfit mechs, but that's part of the charm for me. I like coming up with crazy designs that would never actually work just to watch them blow stuff in this. By the way, the pilot Twitch - doesn't he remind you a bit of Tweak from South Park?

Yeah, I still don't get his actions, as well as what main hero tried to achieve, but end up running to the Periphery. It would be better, if the campaign structure was made more open, allowing player to choose sides and have different outcomes, like in MW4 Mercs. I too had the impression, that Twitch is a reference to Tweak from SP. He also have quite creepy portait, Two-Face style.

way I understood while Renard was loyal to Katarina his escalation of things on Carver V was his own decisions due his increasing paranoia that player & its mercenary's are out to get him plus Capelan machinations didn't help mater either.

If you were on a team working on MechCommander 3, what would you change?

Love this game. The mech building seemed simplistic, until you actually start building them, trying to squeeze every bit of dps into their frame. Love the weapon specialization as well

Expand mech building aspect, one in MC 2 is decent but MC 1 one was better and add some kind random map generator/mercenary mode so that games has increased replayability. Replaying campaign or individual maps from campaign gets boring faster than I would like.

@@lusians3 you could even make it a bit open world sort of speak. Like the way dawn of war I went with dark crusade or dawn of war 2 with the random missions on the various planets except with more tilesets etc.

This. There was an amazing amount of finesse in the team training, squad build, loadout, strategy & tactics. So good and haven't found anything like it since.

Get yourself Rip and ISO versions. Install Rip version. Delete sound and movies folders. Mount ISO. Copy sound and movies folders from the ISO to MC2 folder. Delete imagehelp.dll in binaries folder. Delete vidcard.csv and badcard.csv in your MC2 folder. Copy No-CD if needed. Use dgvoodoo 2 with 4:3 resolution, fast video memory acces and billinear bit stretch. Disable Hardware Cursor in the game options.
