Wow! You guys have really outdone yourselves with this one. Ten and a half minutes of sheer breathtaking metal! Remindes me a bit of the movie Oblivion, for some reason... Anyway, I listen to allot of industrial metal. I mean loads, but I can't think of anything else that can compare to this. In one word: amazing! But I have a few things to point: - I don't know about you, but in my headphones, I ear the bass drum inside my head and everything else on the other side of the town (yes, I'm beeing extremist, but you got the point); - this also means that the synth ambients behind kind of dissapear because they can't be heard... as well as the cymbals... Basically, I would lower the kick drum volume a bit... but I'm not a pro on mixing... not even close... Other than that, it's amazing!!

what kind of headphones do you have.. I think thats where your issue lies.. there are headphones specifically designed to be bass heavy and it sounds like you have a pair.. I find decent JBL headphones pretty darn good for this type of music but I think that all brands carry certain models of bass heavy headphones.. and scull candy has an OK balance for a cheaper brand but they break easy ... and I have a couple of JBL ES90s and a couple of ES30s that sound pretty bad ass.. even with a little crappy box pushing them the kick drums are tight and perfectly balanced with all of the other instruments... studio monitors and a nice reciever would provide a sound that is closer to the detail that joe was hearing when he mixed this.
