Dude! You started with floppys?? Lucky you. I started with a ZX Spectrum. Loading for 45mins off of a cassette tape and using a TV for a monitor. It was both amazing and a nightmare when a game crashed and you had to wait 30-45mins to reload it again. The best part was that you could use the cassette player solo to play (and record) music. I have so many cassette tapes full of game music that I recorded from my bygone years in my attic today. Good times 😁

i dont get to see the stream that often, and i am nearly 50...... so having to youtube it. I had a binatone pong machince, an atari 2600 (best games Defender, Centipede, Space Invaders) A NES, mario brothers, Air Wolf and Robocop) amiga....only game was sensible world of soccer, PS1 lara croft and metal gear solid, Ps2 3 and 4 before going back to a PC best discision ever. need a better graphics card but i can wait till prices are sorted.

Meanwhile starting turns with 20-30+ gold... ^^' Most builds that can get that much gold and actually invest it in scaling are going to win. Beasts do really well until people hit gigastat mode, which happens with crazy high roll builds and/or huge econ builds (often one and the same).

It was. I'm pretty sure that was my omu board at the end. I remember coming in second and feeling relieved because I was feeling dirty for playing beasts. I had no choice, but at least I didn't get first with them.

@@theendofthestart8179 Funny how one of the only other competitors is Leap Frogger... another ridiculously oppressive Beast card. Hell, when BG's first came out, Bear Mama was one of the strongest cards in the game, as a T6 that only gave +5/+5. How we ended up with Beasts spamming 300/300 fucking tokens is beyond me, but they've been one of the most problematic tribes throughout the game's entire history.

I almost never see anybody playing them in my games since they get fucking BODIED by mechs, demons, dragons, and even like late game nagas or menagerie... you see them but they finish like 5th or 6th usually unless they get some god combo and still never come first lol
