While Clan ER PPCs do more damage, i like Clan Large Pulse Lasers better. Likewise, have u thought about going 8+ Clan Medium Pulse Lasers with extra armor.... much shorter range, but recycles fast and cores mechs faster

I must admit I often ended up with the ERs mostly as a weight saving device but there are some builds on there way with a verity for the dw.

@dzarn899 while there is a slight range downgrade when using clan medium pulse vs clan er medium lasers, the beam duration is much shorter and thus easier to get all the dmg to the same area compared to er meds. This is not true in the board game/battletech game by hairbrain, this is a game mechanic in the recent mechwarrior series
