Just bought this game on steam and man does this song hype you up to play or what?

@@joe5hm03 I find it a bit odd that there's three versions of this song. This version, which I don't believe is played in the game officially. Then there's the menu version which is a bit shorter and has a higher pitch to it. Then in the base game (without the Inner Sphere DLC), there's a couple chords of this song that are melancholy.

Agree'd OP. Sure I could nitpick some things I wish where there. 3 is where I was introduced, and I miss some if its features. But my GOD this is the still fun AND beautiful. And some mods are there to fix some aspects. PLUS ITS THE ONLY TITLE SINCE HBS's BATTLETECH TO DO MELEE IN ANY FORM!

Closest movie we got is Robot Jox. Which funny enough was written partly by a guy who was involved with the Battletech novels, especially around the time of the Clan Invasion. So you'll see some similarities between Robot Jox and Battletech.

A lone Atlas with a black paint pattern and a painted on mustache turns to greet the Clint. “You know this town ain’t big enough for the two of us.” “Go ahead. Make my day.” “Whaddya say, boy, a draw?” CU Clint cockpit. Pilot squints. CU finger on trigger. Atlas: “DRAW!” Clint raises AC5 and a stream of bullets spray the Atlas’ eye. Atlas falls.

The actual menu song is a different version of this song. True on both the Steam and Epic version (can't confirm on the Xbox). Unless there's another version you are referring to.
