Excuse my ignorance but the acronym "WCT" stands for? Is this tournament still in existence? How prestigious is/was it?

Hello. If you’d still like an answer to your question: “WCT” stood for World Championship Tennis, which was a men's tournament circuit that ran in the 70’s & 80’s.

i remember i was pissed at mac's nonchalant post-match remarks, like him "having to get up at 10 AM," etc... it was like he didnt care about losing but there was really nothing he could do against mecir that day... his serve & forehand were so weak and inconsistent at this point & mecir was just too good i notice now though what gr8 shape he was in, chasing all those balls down, prob his best shape ever... too bad his game never came back though to anywhere near his best form
