Yes it would. You get the latest Android 11 and it also has better performance than the old model mi stick

I was watching my movies in Plex On this. And for some reason it wouldn’t okay some movies. Inn1080 section. Maybe just a setting to change. But seemed like newer movies it didn’t wana play

Just 1 GB of RAM is disappointing. I do like Mecool. I moved my M8S Pro.L to my bedroom TV when I bought my Shield in 2016-17. It worked flawlessly for years but doesn't have certifications and is running regular Android 7. That's just too old for me and the only reason I'm getting rid of it. (Going to be a retro gaming device soon!) How well does Mecool support Android TV on the higher end models? I am considering a better model with certifications. I'm spoiled with the Shield. I'm sure no one else updates like nVidia. Thanks!

If you have an Nvidia shield the only reason you would need another TV Box is if you prefer the mobile version of Android

Km2 is stil my favorite manufactured device they’ve released. I use Plex tivimate KZbin and chrome. That’s all on bedroom tv. And. It is not slow at all. I still have remaining storage and works great.

4K not available on Netflix prime

I am not sure what's actually happening, but it works in 4K when I login with my Netflix 4K subscription.

Try it on a TV that supports HDCP protection or new smart TV. Netflix and other premium apps as sensitive to televisions that to provide the required protection. Once it does not detect HDCP it will not give you the HD or 4K feature.

What's wrong with these companies in providing a comparable device to whats out there.......Finally you got a device that can play Netflix and Prime ......BUT....NOT AT 4K!!!!! ......The hardware can definitely do it but Mecool limits it......Gheeze .......another pass as its just as much as the FireStick, TIVO, GOOGLE TV...thx Nick

Yeah sometimes I get a slight case of anxiety going to these models only to discover that it has all these cons because am always rooting for Mecool to improve and give us the total package.
