Wow you would of thought they would of got the netflix sorted.....you have made me so glad now I bought the firecube in sale,was going to hold out for the KM7 but glad I didn't now,by the way when I bought the fire cube it was half price,couldn't go wrong really....great video

Yes I was hoping they resolved the Netflix issue. Its' strange how Disney+ is newer than Netflix. But the app has a wider compatibility than Netflix and gives you 4K streaming. Netflix is just a very difficult company.

To be honest Km6 is better. It achieves better performance and has USB 3 and Gigabit LAN. Nicer design too.

If you can, include tests of Xcloud and Geforce Now in your reviews. Some devices cannot maintain a good performance in these apps, due to the low quality of the network card.

Km2 built by a different company. Certainly runs smoother. Gets higher wifi speed. Plus just well manufactured. This km7 is light. It would blow away in ye wind However when running at to knotch. It has plenty of space. Casting word great 4k in Plex etc. works fine. More storage. I have both. I prefer running the km2. But im Just streaming 5 and tv on them both

Does the S905Y4 have a graphically inferior performance compared to the S905X4?

Both chips have the Mali G31 integrated graphics and performance feels the same.

From what I gather it's just a slightly higher clocked version of the s905x3, I guess the only real difference is the inclusion of AV1 decoding.

@@madmax2069 The 10/100 network card and the lack of a USB 3.0 port is sad as it doesn't allow speeds greater than 100mbs via an Ethernet adapter.

@@JonatasDias7 it's odd how a system with a newer SOC (it came out this year) lacks USB 3.0, my Android box with an S905x3 (came out in 2019) has 1 USB 3.0 port. My box is a x88 Pro mini, the one thing it lacks over the s905y4 is AV1 decoding, but I mainly use it for emulation and SDR radio.

@@madmax2069 I have an X96 Air S905X3, but as it hasn't had any updates for 1 year, several apps already have problems, mainly streaming. Xcloud, for example, freezes the image in any insufficient latency range. I wanted to buy one with 1GB support, as my internet is 400Mb, and Mecool models appeal to me because of the ATV, but without USB 3.0 ports and speeds limited to 100mbs, it's definitely not worth it. The way is to wait KM8.

More DIY Retro Egame emuklation. WhewHooo. You might have to root it ot get NetFlix on there. $74 is a little steep for the specs. My T-95 MAX was a bit less and virtually has the same specs. Mali631, 64 GB storage, 4 GB Ram, and Amlogic S905x3 for the only difference other than it's regular Android and nt Android TV.

I bought the mecool km6 deluxe, it promise the world, and is very expensive, but mecool cannot carries Netflix evevn for legit subscription, cannot load Chrome browser. So my advice is go for the Firestick 4K Max.
