I remember Parnelli and Bill Stroppe drove this car across the rock and washboard desert of Baja and at one point Parnelli was doing 135mph...so fast that the spotter airplane could not keep up with it. P.J. was a fearless monster behind the wheel of anything he drove!

1971 Baja 1000 Ensenada to La Paz the record still alive not even the TT can break it 14h 59 min 27 seconds, but I rember the letters PJ on front bumper.

I remember attending the Mint 400 and hearing that Bronco roar by, I was always under the impression it had a FE 427 not a 351W because of it's speed or PJ just had a very heavy foot.
