I definitely agree, and his surrounding controversy does make it difficult for people to listen to him. But good advice is good advice regardless of who it's from haha I'm glad you found this useful!

Tate says a lot of things I don't agree with but his mindset in general is something we all can learn from. You have made a good video, a food for thought.

100% agree with you, he's said a lot of questionable things but it doesn't take away from the good points, which tbh a lot of people ignore because of his other issues. I'm glad you enjoyed, hope to see you in the comments in future again :)

i think ppl looking for a dad on the internet is what makes advice like him toxic as all hell; but i think understanding how meditative practices have branched out in society, flaws and all, as opposed to when it was deeply synonymous to religion, is what makes things like what he can say also very imortant. He exists and has a loud voice, so studying the impact his motivation has and the information hes disseminating, even though its existed before in a more esoteric fashion, is honestly very important from an internet society that is essentially "devoid of culture"

For sure, and a lot of people take what he says at face value which again can have bad implications, especially for a younger audience! It's why it's always important to fully realise what we listen to online from such big influencers, so that we can take away anything of positive value and learn to avoid what isn't good!
