These 2 are times Shaq couldn’t do it, added on a lot more success in Phoenix, less success but about the same success in Miami, more success in LA, and while Shaq only had 1 finals appearance in Orlando with 0 rings, this sim has Wemby dominanting Shaqs magic years. Wemby would go down in goat debates but fall short from the title “goat” due to losing to MJ countless times as the main guy, tested as a true duo with Kobe, side kick of Nash and Wade, and role player for Bron and Boston big 3. During his true #1 options for a team, MJ owned him. Getting a top 5 player all time in Kobe only extended his legacy, but not as “the guy”

We can not diminish Wembeyama contributions to those Cavs and Celtics championships. Even though he was not in his prime he was bring a presence and knowledge and leadership of the GOAT before he got there. His humility to take a back seat and high basketball IQ contributed greatly to those championships. Game winning plays, Im sure he was still a defensive beast. Understanding where to open man is. Humility is a skill too.

I’d say that Wemby ends up as the 7th best player of all-time in this dimension.
