Gillgirl sucked. Anything with destroy attacks was shitty unless you either got lucky or had crazy speed to break her parts before she chain reaction'd your first bot to death immediately.

The biggest challenge, especially in Rokusho version, when you didn't pick the Female Tinpet and/or have no Anti-Sea medaparts from Sloan. Aim Shot action SACRIFICE!!!

While it *sounds* crippling to not have a female medabot for this fight, it’s not really the end of the world (though you will have to wait a lot if you only get it in the entrance to Kodine Kingdom to get your first female tinpet). If you have three male Medabots, then just give them Multi-legged leg medaparts to take advantage of the Rocky Field terrain, as well as the anti-sea arm medaparts you get from the sea type medabots near Keanie’s house (which can’t miss against sea type medabots, so the legs’ lack of remoteness is a nonissue), in fact, it’s even better if you have a third male rather than a female, since there are no Multi-legged female leg medaparts (or even Wheels legs, which also really screws them in the midgame, since you fight a lot on indoors and street fields).

@@elji-w3k The female tinpet is actually pretty good to have when you get to Medabot Island as you can get a good Stop build for it between the Snowbro arms and Auroraqueen legs. Also, since you can't get Sumilodon in Rokusho version without trading, having a female tinpet allows you to use Shot Traps if you win that part from Samantha in the Medabot Island tournament. The middling initial pool of female parts is tricky since you likely will only have 1 Peppercat part and 1 Neutranurse part in addition to the complete Brass you get with the tinpet, but at worst that's 3 rounds of Scouting and some minor Heal/Stop support. The ability to use one of the three attacking Fireflash parts you'll likely get from the 2 scripted battles against Sloan (about 60% chance) rather than having to farm Kannie's area for Kappalord arms is more than worth it to make short work of Squidguts IMO.

As far as i remember, you MUST get the female tinpet in the Marsh maps or else you cannot make a team of only female medabots.

It took me lots of trials to beat Robo-Emperor on Rokusho version. I armored Rokusho with shield and anti missile and equipped the other two with destroy and repair medaparts

Metabee Version: Gillgirl is the hardest one with the Destroy Attacks. Rokusho Version: Squidguts with the Sacrfices from Aviking, if you had no Anti-Sea attacks at the first fight against him, then you could almost do New Game, cus without its really really hard. It was definitely possible, but it was really hard xD

I could have swear that the difficulty between Metabee and Rokusho verison of the game is uneven.

In a lot of ways, yes. Rokusho was the hard mode mostly due to the fact that early game, he was a glass cannon. Metabee had average armor and all attacking medaparts whilst Rokusho had only his arms and each one was fragile. Rokushos saving grace was his head and hammer parts, together doing obscene amounts of damage.

I never really use the left hammer often after being done with the school chapter, but there was this boy in the mountain area which has a pink star medabot and that leg is an amazing addition to Roshuko's sword. Then the game got started to get balanced from there on foward.

I can agree. I found myself swapping out Rokushos parts for the kora parts, Rokushos 'Upgraded' parts. Less damage but armor is better and scout makes up for it.

I might sound very cofusing there with the last comment, HA! I meant specifically the leg which can dodges pretty much more than half of the grapple and beam, the hammer then became kind of obsolete because it's beserk nature means a free critical hit for the enemy. I always liked the Roshuko's sword, even the upgraded cat claws from Rushoku 2.0

when i played this as a kid, i didnt like the sword cuz it only did damage to 1 part, rokusho's hammer was my go to most of the time. i think i had like lvl 76 in berserk on my kuwagata medal at the end of the game
