This is why Medal of Honor is the best. It is based off real events and it even shows us the message on how soldiers deserve the utmost respect because of how much they sacrifice. You can whine and bitch about how much Medal of Honor has been Neglected and how COD and Battlefield are the best, but you can not deny that Medal of Honor deserves praise for actually honoring those who really did fight by giving us a simple and straight foward message on how soldiers give the greatest sacrifice any man or women can ever give.

***** Perfect example of how special the Medal of Honor series really is. The series as a whole is meant to show the sacrifice that every single soldier on the battlefield gives and how their brotherhood carries them through the hell our petty arguments put them through, For them to use the actual experiences of soldiers is just perfect because it is the only true way to portray the reality of war as accurately as possible for the player.

He volunteered for the mission to recover Neil Roberts, he did not get anyone killed he assisted the SEAL team, got shot and was slowly bleeding out on a mountain left for dead, the Ranger QRF trean that came in wasnt even for John they were for Neil and John used what last bit of ammo and life he had left to distract the enemy so their fire wasnt entirely focused on the QRF team.

"War is long, brutal, unpleasant, and treacherous. Those who travel this path will find that it will get worse before it gets better. While very few have the courage to push on despite such misery and heartache, those who do, will also learn that through the path of Hell, Heaven lies at the end of their journey and that their sacrifice was not in vain." This is a personal quote I wrote a few years back, my way honoring soldiers who sacrifice everything for our sake. This game may not be ground breaking in any way, but it has one of the best written stories about the emotion of war. And is also the second game to ever make me cry. (Mass Effect 3 being the first). My thanks, for our heroes, who sacrifice so much so we may sleep peacefully at night.

"In war no one is picked for everyone is chosen. No one's a hero for everyone is a victim." This is my interpretation of war. It's not honorable there is nothing poetic. But sometimes things happen and you just have to do what you have to do....Most of the time it's not pretty.

And now for a GOOD thing about MoH '10 - we got to fight alongside Jimmy Patterson's grandson. He was the team leader with the Rangers. Here's a little-known fact - after WW2, Jimmy retired from the OSS and became a suppository salesman who would levitate and shout obscenities at small children. Also, the entire game seemed realistic - whereas MW2 was awesome because it was all Hollywood with Red Dawn and snowmobile chases, this game ruled because of the lack of all that made-up bullshit.

I hate the way people gave it mediocre ratings. This game was amazing. I love the way in the mission when you play as the ranger when you have to climb the mountain, the graphics just stunned me on how it changed from desert to forest tundra. I prefer this over Call of Duty, at least the newer ones and Battlefield, but MoH has always took to the emotional side. CoD used to and Socom used to be the bad ass kill people and awesome online MP.

Mother...Preacher...Voodoo...Rabbit... Four Tier 1 Soldiers... That act like brothers, fighing together, going back for each other, and giving their comrade a helping hand. EA,DangerClose, DICE, thank you for this Masterpiece, it shows me how all soldiers around the war feel... watching men die all around them, there own nightmare... Yet, its a dedication to all American Servicemen... Brilliant. In memory of all American Servicemen, Especially you Rabbit.... The American Hero.. R.I.P *SALUTE*
