I’ve beaten this game about 15 or 20 times. And I’ve also played the multiplayer extensively. I consider myself one of the foremost experts on this game. I don’t know everything about it of course, but the further you look into Operation Anaconda, memorial understand how authentic this game is. If you look up the book Alone at Dawn You can learn a lot about the historical context of the game. Rabbit is supposed to be Neil Roberts, the navy seal that died on the real Takur Gahr. There are many other references to reality in the game as well. I was actually thinking of making a video similar to this so I appreciate that you made a video about this game too.

I had to go off base to buy this game. The MP controversy was so over blown. A handful of perpetual victims voiced themselves as if the represented the entire US military and made a stink over it. This game was a lot of fun for its time, the missions were very closely tied to real operations and at least one SEAL got in some trouble for OPSEC violations.

I had so much fun in 2010! 😊 It is so immersive!! The sound design is top notch! I'm so glad I got to experience the mp while servers were active! It was a great precursor to BF3!

Game has a fantastic gunplay, and IMO, the best sound on any FPS. I used to drop my m4 at the beginning of every mission and take an AK, sound was absolutely delicious. Of course, somebody saw it was good and figured out how to ruin it. For the spanish voices they hired teenagers, so that desperate fight for your life on the top of the hill, watching an over 6 feet bearded delta force guy talking with the voice of a 13 year old kid gets a little bit spoiled. PS: "I had a friend in high school who swore it was his favourite game" is not such a compelling argument as you think.

hey if you like medal of honor (2010) then you should look at medal of honor War fighter, which is a continuation of the 2010 game still being developed by EA and releasing in 2012 with those 2 games in my honest opinion if they were released today, they would be in the top fps gaming category

That's disappointing to hear. I knew this game had some ties to reality, but I had no idea how closely they followed real events. Sounds like they wanted to do a bit of Tarantino-esque revisionist history and at least have them bring Rabbit home.

Mark Chapman was an airman, not a Navy SEAL like the rest of the operators shown in MOH. Chapman didn't answer to the radio, all the rest of the SEALs were wounded and/or low on ammo. Britt Slabinsky, the SEAL in charge of that team was in no disposition of going after Chapman. That's the gist of it and you can read the public records of the CID investigation on the OP. It's very easy for keyboard warriors to crap on veterans because they think The SEALs should have gone all Rambo and get killed and then paraded by a much superior Taliban force. But that's not how things work in reality.

@@brian_david It's also incorrect. Neil "Fifi" Roberts (the real "Rabbit") was not abandoned by his comrades. In fact, they absolutely wanted to go back for him. John Chapman, the USAF CCT that was assigned to the SEALs, was the one who was abandoned during the rescue operation. While they were trying to get to Neil Roberts' body, SEAL team leader Britt Slabinski ordered his wounded SEAL team to retreat and regroup due to all of them sustaining injuries, all while they left a wounded John Chapman by himself near an enemy bunker. Neil Roberts' death was accidental and he died defending himself, he wasn't abandoned. It was the rescue operation that ended up botched.

Great video. Getting the M60 going the first time is crazy. If you play on higher difficulties you have to stab people a bunch of times to kill them, otherwise they get back up and start fighting again. Hugely incorrect opinion about warfighter though. The online play for that game was crazy too back in the day.

Perfect Dark Zero was legit my only game for my 360 for about a year and some change and it fundamentally changed me, game came out in like 06 and had bot mechanics, wayyyy ahead of its time

my dad and I loved both this moh, and moh warfighter. breaching in warfighter was so cool. warfighter mp was also awesome because you could play as different special ops units and stuff. I loved those games and really wish ea would have moh make a comeback, it's desperately needed.

So for me, the Helo mission was like a recovery/catharsis period. I was very nervous and uneasy about the end of the Ranger mission because I didn't want them to die. So going from on the edge of death to almost god mode for some revenge felt very satisfying imo.

The top brass in the Navy blocked the man’s award for a long time because it drew attention to the fact that Master Sergeant John Chapman (a USAF combat controller) was accidentally abandoned alive on the mountain.

The attention to detail in this game.. one thing I noticed in the single player campaign was, if you pick up the AKs, you’ll run into a variety of models of AK that you randomly pick up. Which I can see is really close to reality on a battlefield.

MOH2010 is one of the best games of the last 15 years, sadly very underrated, and also sadly followed by what i would call the worst entry MOH war fighter, even though it showed good potential in the different top tier special forces from around the world but sadly the campaign was lack lustier compared to 2010 entry. 2010s MOH just hit right and gave you goose bumps in certain missions especially the one when you are waiting for air support, i felt like i was never going to survive but when that helo comes up from the behind the mountain and obliterates the enemy i actually felt relief, that is still the one mission i always talk about when talking about 2010 MOH. i just want a new MOH however i would settle for a remaster of 2010s MOH one can only hope i guess

To comment on the, "COD stears from actual conflicts", in MW you have Al-Qutar which is literally Al-Qaeda but it's referred to as AQ which seems more similar to IS. The Army Alex fights for is basically the Kurds but there's no government faction only the Russians. Afghan, Afghan Soviet War, Syria and Iraq all folded into one

I tried it on new at the time tv and older ones trying to get it to were I could see just about anything. It never cleared up. How they put those on the market is crazy. They would of been cool.

Wolfpack’s stealth missons are incredibly easy to play undetected (besides open firefights triggered by scripts) - you just need to listen to your partner, Dusty.

This game was great when it came out. MoH Warfighter was quite a let down compared to this. They abandoned the real history, I thought surely it would be based around the Iraq war but they chickened out and it was about a non-existent terror group that seemed to be inspired by Isis...but I'm pretty sure it was out before Isis was a real group? I don't know. MoH 2010 was classic though.
