If you enjoyed the challenge and setting I'd recommend following it up with a playthrough of the "new" Wolfenstein games. Looking back at this game the similarities are very telling all around, almost like the Wolfenstein devs played MoH:Airborne aswell and scaled up the craziness when eventually they got around to releasing The New Order.

Lots of people complained over the years that my original run wasn't on Expert so I decided enough was enough and set out to play the game once more on the same difficulty and prove it by posting it unedited. Personal observations: The difficulty felt just about the same albeit enemies acted somewhat differently, namelly gunners (armored MG dudes); it's possible (most likelly, actually) that my previous run was done on an older build/version of the game that had tricks you can no longer use to the same extent in the most up to date Steam version. This does not mean, however, that I wasn't playing on Expert and I hope we can finally settle the matter for good. In case you are curious about how to deal with gunners in the current version: abuse the peek system, as I've always recommended. The headshot microstun trick no longer applies. PS: screw Operation Market Garden, the most bs mission ingame, I'll take the 3 stars gladly on that one.

Thank God someone who actually KNOWS what he's doing! The best performance I've seen here so far... Satisfactory to say the least. I would have chosen a different set of weapons but one just can't argue with the way you handle your pick. It's spot on: undeniably smooth! Great aiming and map awareness, the whole shebang... Truly remarkable, thanks for ths one! That was very very pleasant to watch. I miss this game so much, brings back some childhood memories for sure!

Everyone's got their own playstyle, for me assault weapons tend to be my thing and it's very obvious my aim is rather poor at longer distances. I think the way damage scales in this game always favored autos with large magazines and particularly the Sturmgewehr but I'll say a fully upgraded shotgun and even the pistols can be fun to use if you bother grinding them out (they are very anemic unupgraded). If you like the game so much why not play it again rather than watch someone else play it for you? :)

​​@@krixtorei​ My gear of choice used to be The Colt M1911A1 as a primary(if fully upgraded, it can kill even elite MG42's with just one clip) (or 3 headshots) (it's also the lightest weapon in the game, so you can run the fastest) The Sturmgewehr 44 *with the scope* as a secondary. it's incredible at medium range(too far for the Colt, too Close for the Snipers) And the Gewehr 43 for longer range opponents. In my oppinion, a bigger clip and better rate of fire pays off in the higher difficulties(especially at Varsity). This setup was the goat for me back in the day... damn how I miss this game! I'm saving some money to buy a new pc. Until then I'll have to settle with Forums and KZbin gameplays, lol Maybe I'll record my own run someday...!

She was my lovely game from EA. Damn still miss her after end of support of MP. Played in 1.0 and remembering tonns of bugs like nazis hads after hit of the wall, it's extends on 2 meters, nevertheless it was awesome game, still has disk, Steam and EA versions of the game. Damn that EA for closing the MOHA, MOHW and many others games that was damn greatest...

How did you get it to work on PC? The game doesn’t work on Steam.

It's not available in the steam store anymore, only through EA Play. If by not working you mean it crashes on launch or fails to even launch after hitting play that's related to a legacy AGEIA PhysX driver that is required but not included in the installation files (been like that since forever). I'm not going to post links here but the legacy driver you need is 9.12.1031 and you can get it off the nvidia website... or, if you're feeling lazy, refer to some of the guides in the community page on Steam; They tell you what to do and how to fix that and any other related issues.

I completed the entire campaign on expert difficulty and it only gave me the normal achievement :(

Why is the control so difficult on the console

It's clunky even on PC. By default you peek with the movement keys after aiming down sights and you press the sprint key while aiming to unlock movement during ADS.... That's the clunkiest thing I ever had to deal with in an FPS game, I believe. MoH:Airborne is a nostalgic game for all the right reasons and all the wrong reasons at the same time.

Pretty good but there are several enemies you didn't engage. For example back in the adanti scene there are several enemies in the houses and in the building connected to the grand hall in the basement. To be a truly expert replay I would have liked to have seen you taken out every enemy not just enough to get you through the stage.

Well, If they don't stand in my way to the objectives or otherwise threaten me in any way there would have been no reason to artificially inflate the runtime and bore people with the same shooting stuff you do the rest of the game just for the sake of completionism... I think? In either case thank you for the input; If I ever get triggered enough to do another run I'll take this advice in mind for sure.

@@krixtorei This is supposed to be a FULL RUN - not a pick-and-choose run. You should visit ALL areas of each map and engage ALL enemies! Don't just zip through it because it's quicker - where's the honour in that?!

@@phakeAccount You do however understand that enemies keep spawning in certain areas the moment you leave them, right? That basement in Op. Husky is one such spawn closet. How am I meant to complete a level if I'm forced to go back everytime to kill them when they just keep respawning the moment I leave the area? Like I said I'll take your coment in mind regardless.

@@krixtorei no that's not correct. There are only so many enemies per stage. They do not respawn
