Love this level, I get too carried away when I was younger wasting all my ammo on providing covering fire to random NPCs in the vain hope to get more to the wall I didn't then that they are scripted to die

Same, child-me didn't understand what a scripted event was and I remember trying really hard to prevent some of the scripted sequences later in the game.
