I was having pain in lower right part of my stomach, light headed, and felt hot. I was sent to the ER to get tested for appendicitis and thankfully I was clean. I ate hot cheetos the night before so that's what caused my sharp stomach pain. As for the other symptoms, the doctor said I was severely dehydrated.

Yeah, I woke up in the middle of the night with right side abdominal pain. For me the pain was all over on the right side. It did not hurt that bad when sitting and or engaging in acts with little movement. However it did feel relatively painful when laughing, and moving quickly. My mind was telling me it was nothing yet I had one of those gut instinct moments. All in all, turns out I had it and got operated on immediately. I tell you this because I had zero other symptoms and it was less obnoxious and painful then the common stomach bug Post Note: When in doubt get it checked out especially if the pain migrates from location to location. Apparently once it bursts it’s much more complicated to fix and more complications can arise

Trust me, when you get appendicitis you’ll know something Is off. It all begins with excruciating abdominal pain then the pain on the right mid to lower side. Any movement is uncomfortable. Top 3 Worst I’ve ever felt. Went to the ER yesterday morning and got tests and ct scan and sure enough I had a serious inflamed appendix and infection to my belly. Luckily it didn’t explode but it was infected. Went through procedure and had my surgery yesterday afternoon. Getting up and coughing is painful and a pain but hey it’s all on the road to recovery. So far no vomiting for me, doctor said my body reacted well with morphine, antibiotics and other meds so that could be it. PS. Avoid laughing after surgery at all costs!!

@@leegheianne7278 well with me I had no appetite to eat since morning. Went fine all day and at night my stomach got REALLY bloated all the sudden. Real uncomfortable. First it was soft pain but within the hour it was just terrible pain, fever, shaking, chills and complete uncomfortableness. Fell asleep from all the pain but around 4 am I woke up with sharp pain to lower right abdomen. It’s bad to the point you can’t walk right or stand upright. If you press down on pain site and it hurts when you release, it’s most likely your appendix. If you feel any of this go to the ER QUICK! Not trying to scare you but If it ruptures it is life threatening. Hopefully everything’s well with you or if you did have appendicitis wish you a speedy and healthy recovery!

This sounds like me. I have IBS but it only flares sometimes. Every time I get stomach pains I think it'd appendicitus then it goes away but this time it'd been a week so idk I'm scared again 😂 I just don't want to go to the doctor I'm broke. Two days later I woke up and the pain was like completely gone. The doctors told me to still come in for an ultrasound just to be safe. Then they told me I had a cyst on my ovary and it actually stopped hurting bc it burst so yeah, hope that could help!

My right side is hurting on the bottom a couple days ago I went to the ER cause it was killing me they did a ct scan blood test and urine test… they told me everything looked normal then 2 days ago I went to another dr and they just did a normal X-ray they told me I was impacted with gas and poop more gas tho but the thing is I took laxatives and pooped a lot the pain still hasn’t left and I’m so scared but the thing is the pain is basically everywhere on my right side now sometimes the pain just goes back to the bottom and also they never told me that I had a stomach bug or anything but then again I looked up IBS it can actually feel just like appendicitis it can feel like someone is hitting u and stabbing u that’s basically chronic IBS so I might go to the dr for it

So what can this be confused with? And can a single meal trigger this? I had a pasta dish where the base sauce was Siracha. It was hot and tastey. Then a beer, then some birthday cake. 3 hours later my whole abdomen was in pain. No diarreha, no constipation, didnt feel like vomiting. Just a constant sore abdomen. Then a day later. All the pain (relatively minor) is now in my lower right section. Painful when I PRESS. This “rebound” concept makes no sense. Just pressing in the section mentioned and yep, I feel the soreness. Now is this REALLY appendicitis or something else?

Help pls. My pain started today (a stabbing pain on the right side of my waist. Not in front, bit rather sideways of the waist) and I always manage to walk the pain off, but I was kinda concerned so I googled it. Now, I should definitely go see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis, but since I had sports today, my mom believes it's a muscle cramp and won't let me go. Another thing is I have shit memory so I can't even remember whether the pain started before or after my sports lesson. A pain in the middle of your abdomen that is the umbilicus region can be early stages of appendicitis but if you’re feel deviated pain then I suppose it’s just gastric related problem but get scanned just in case.

Oh phew. I don’t have appendicitis then. I’ve been having weird bowl movements lately, but I’m almost certain it’s ibs, since the symptoms have been going on for nearly 6 months now with no problems of irregular dehydration, fever, blood, or nausea. @@leegheianne7278 If it’s prolonged I don’t think you have to worry about it because from what I’ve read, appendicitis feels a lot worse than ibs and the appendix wouldve exploded in a 72 hour time range, so if it still hasn’t caused any problems, especially if it’s been going on for months, then it should be fine. If it goes on for 5-6 months and you’re young then it’s most likely ibs, ibd, or celiac disease, but I’m no doctor lol. I’d say don’t worry about it unless you see blood, start vomiting a lot, or you get insanely dehydrated with abdominal pain, even if you drank water. But tell your doctor about it when your annual checkup comes around just in case.

My right stomach hurts it's been going on for 2-3 days after the work out i did.. I'm kinda scared if i have to get operated.. My mom said it could be just a stomach ache bcs I'm not usually use on workouts she said maybe i did it fastly that my body got shock. What should i do?

Its almosy 4am where i am rn n im having mild cramps in my right side n idk if i have appendicitis cuz when i press on it, it hurts still like not an unbearable pain but a cramping sensation. I have bad anxiety n cant sleep cuz im scared i might have appendicitis. I also feel sick but not throwing up. So my pain started Thursday night. I had some chicken from a stand outside the previous day and the next morning, I had very bad diarrhea. Then I started experiencing deep cramps the early morning of the next day with black diarrhea and bad cramps all day. The next day the cramps have been minimal but they still hurt very bad. But now it’s brown diarrhea and I’ve only had maybe 4 bouts of today. Could it be appenditis? My cramps almost feel like contractions.

Can anyone help me know what my issue is? I have lower right abdomen pain and less bad very minimal right side pain. I can pass gas but it’s more diffficult. This started two days ago and yesterday it worsened. Today is a bit worse but just by a tiny bit. I had nausea two days ago two but no throwing up. I haven’t checked for a fever.

I am not sure if I am doing it right, the pressing. 🥺 But this is how I am currently feeling. I get some pain in the lower right and then it will leave and then there will it be again and then leave. Like an on and off pain. What does it mean by that? I am also having constipation but I had poop last night but i know it is not everything. I am confused if this is a period cramp since I will be having period in a few days or if it is related to appendicitis. And also i am having pain as well at the back of that lower right abdomen.

Did it resolve for you ? As of rn trying to figure out if kidney infection, appendix, ovarian cysts. Had what I assumed was a UTI infection about 4 days ago & now have been having sharp pain on my right side right where the appendix is. It's severe right after urinating. (I'm a woman)

If the pain is in the back as well it could very well be a tight psoas muscle. It’s very common for one side to have an imbalance and for there to be a muscle cramp

@@isaacdriggs2484 not necessarily, if it’s a smaller tear rather than a full on rupture, than it’ll take longer to leak out. also if there is more fat surrounding the organs, the fluids won’t absorb into the body as quickly.
