+Ahmed Aldoori Seems like they tried to push too many things into its time frame (They obviously didn't know if they would get a chance to shoot a sequel). Also some jokes will not be understandable in 5-7 years from now, which I personally don't like cause I wanted Deadpool to be relatable for future generations. Aside from that, I liked the movie very much. This movie is aware of its own flaws and makes fun of it. Kudos for Ryan Reynolds! And sorries for my English!

I loved the movie! really one of the best adaptations BC it feels like deadpool and not a movie version of a comic... it feels like a comic book is awesome! the scenes were well made and visually was well conceived so yeah! loved it even if had some flaws as everything! nothing to ruin it tho, it keeps the appeal!

I agree with you on the whole expectations thing. Since I'm majoring in animation people expect me to do Disney/Pixar type of animation style. My classmates were surprised when I was drawing more realistic stylised art because it was "different" from my "usual" thing. My "usual" thing was just trying to meet my professor's expectations. But I was able to break that cycle and and have more fun and flexibility with my art. Very good point to bring up Ahmed 😊 P.S. the long "clicccckkk" at the end!! haha It wasn't hard to miss this time 😆

I enjoyed seeing your mind "grinding metal" while figuring out the poses lol. It demonstrates the agony of the thought process when making art out of thin air and we all go through that. Thanks for leaving it in.

Yeah man, I feel you! I like concept art cause it helps me have a somewhat organized view on how to create a universe. Influences, cultures, different settings, different creatures and concept art has tons of help for that (as well has a huge number of techniques). I'm not sure If I'm more concept art or comic art but all I want is to share the visual universe I have in my head and I guess they can both work. Also huge fan of Joe Madureira but mostly from the Capcom design team back in the late 90's (gosh I'm old)! Those guys open a whole new book on how to do awesome visuals (again... some concept, some comic). Keep up the awesome videos! :D

You are so inspiring! I got pretty much the same problems as you had. I actually only started uploading things to get more confident into my own things, cos people saying "I like your work" is just a lot better than me telling myself how bad I am... In addition I don't only upload the things that I think look good, but also things that show people what struggle there is. Maybe I'll even start doing the KZbins... again... The Sketchfit challenge gives me a tremendous amount of motivation.

hihi i think it'll be super cool and helpful if you made a video on kind of the basics of layers? like how you use them and apply filters, etc. i'm just starting out in digital art and it's hard for me to use layers and i can't seem to follow the settings you use for your layers in your speedpaintings :/ thanks!!! love your vids

Man Imposter Syndrome is crazy crippling, I deal with it when I'm doing almost any project. Still trying to overcome it but, at least I've identified it. Just remember that you have your own voice and your voice and ideas have real Value no matter what. As long as you are passionate about a topic you have real value to give.

I know what you mean with the whole mindset of what 'you should be doing'. It took me too long to realise these weren't actually laws or rules and i don't have to stick to what i think i should be doing which was gloomy realistic concept designs and illustrations.

for me it's not like I blame someone for doing fan art. I mean it's not my you tube channel , it's not my art , it's not my life ,but i don't like when fan art is taken as a short cut to make a lot of view/likes. It's not like they are guilty of something ,but when i see an artist doing stuff he doesn't like just to get likes it makes me feel like he's doing marketing and not art and i'm not a big fan of that things. Anyway it really doesn't look like this is the case because you hardly do any fan art and when u do tht it doesn't feel u're spamming stuff just to get likes

Watching your uninformed, opinionated slander of Concept Art makes me wonder if you're in a position of authority to actually give people advice in regards to it. Try watching some of Feng Zhu's Q&A's where he explains what Concept Art as an activity actually entails. Here's a hint: it's a lot more broader subject than you make it out to be.
@AhmedAldoori8 жыл бұрын
+Maverick Hello buddy - firstly, I am working as a concept artist at ArenaNet - I have worked as a concept artist for movies, theme parks, and now games. I certainly have a high respect for concept design and its importance. My "slanderous" statements are venting at the frustrations that come with the concept art community - placing the idea of "being a concept artist" so high on the imaginary pedestal to the point of taking all the fun out of it. The very "surface assumptions" that you're supposed to be drawing the same subject matters, in the same boring lighting, as everyone else - is what annoys me. I was in that delusional cloud for so long that I had forgotten what I enjoyed most (fun, dynamic, illustrative, narrative imagery) - thus the frustration. I mean no offense to those who enjoy the cursory side of this industry; I'm merely sharing my personal journey in finding what I want to do - and there are a number of concept artists (professional, _in_ the industry) I know personally who feel the same. And sure, anyone can approach concept art/design from a totally unique and unprecedented approach - which I look forward to tackling.
