hey Tidi, i hope you're good. Accounting is the kind of subject that needs you to constantly expose yourself to it, practice makes perfect. So what worked for me was frequent exposure, by this i mean doing my homework, past papers and anything you could think of that leads to me doing accounting. If there is any content you don't understand make use of study guides and your teachers too! I also recommend watching KZbin videos.

hello Dr Andy❤would you please in the future also chat with a medical student that did not do Life Science in High School. I know in UCT you only need Maths and Physics in order to qualify for medicine but I'm starting to be unsure about that. There's no Life Science in my high school as it is an Engineering high school but I want to become a doctor also and I'm concerned that I never heard any med student saying they did not do Life Science.

Greetings ❤️❤️ This question is both vukona and Dr Andy: I hear vukona says when making self study notes you need to write how you understand a certain concept, so I want to know that isn't it at the marking center they mark according to what exactly is on the memo so won't this affect my marks if I wrote something how I understood it?

hey Pabie. by writing notes in your own understanding, i mean writing notes as though you're writing a summary, so you're not writing something completely different from how the textbook puts it, you're writing it in a shorter way ( a summary, sometimes in your own words- a way you understand better). with regards to the marking center, honestly, i don't think they mark strictly according to the memorandum, as long as you have got the concept right, not forgetting the keywords that they need.

does your school offer concessions for slow writers ? If so, you can apply for that. But if not, you can train yourself by setting a timer when writing.

Yes I use to get level 1 in grade 10 and 11 for life science but in grade 12 I got 6 distinctions out of 7 and became top achiever
