Like I mentioned in the video it might need some further refinement but it is a first step in trying to allow for more complicated configurations that we have discussed at some length.

Hey Nathaniel, Absolutely amazing I love it… My only addition that I would suggest… Could you add a timber lay board at the ridge and also at the valley bissedtion, so that if the rafters don’t land on a support they are supported… So basically the dominate roof has timbers laying on it to support the secondary roof?

Alternative option to allow for when configuring roof are… Primary and secondary roof and the configuration of supporting the weigh. Such as the method of support… Valley beam, so the rafters bisect on a plumb cuts with a beam bisecting supporting them. Valley laybeams , so the dominated roof rafters are supported at plate level as normal and the second roof bisect with a timber lay board up the rafters with the secondary roof rafters having seat cuts onto it?

Also when you subtract one roof from another, you subtract the geometry but not the outline, I think the visual que there could help?

Can you add a visual que, such as different colour for the dominate roof or a 50% oblique colour for the subtracted roof?
